What can he do , that Arbeloa/Finnan can't do at least equally good. I'd prefer a LB long before a RB.

We lost our way when Fabio went off..For tuhye goal I really blame a second of non-concentration from arbeloa/Masch to alow the space for Kalou..rest is hitory. Hope you don't want to be remembered this way JAR.

If we could get Maxi and Crespo on a free there would be a w*** feast of the highest order.

Poulsen ?

I'm also a huge fan of the Brazilian Double Act of Diego and Alves. Fantasy formation time with quality in depth squad: ------Reina--------- Alves-Carta-Agger-Aurelio ---Alonso--Monster--- Gerrard--Diego--Babel -------Torres---- Subs: Sami Skrtel Arbeloa Leiva Benny Kuyt Crouch ------- Finnan Plessis Nemeth Insua

I think Villa is phenomenal and if we have the resources, yes definitely we should go for him. At least 20m?

If Alonso leaves, which unfortunately seems more an more likely, I think we could do much worse than going for Barry. He is an England international, friends with Gerrard, good at set-pieces, can play in 3 positions (LB, CM, LM) and brings a captains responsibilty on the pitch..Not a bad signing if it goes through! In addition of course we need to go for the Alves's and the Diegos of the world

Reina, 6 Arbeloa, 6 Carta, 7 Skrtel 6 Aurelio, 6 Alonso 7.5 Lucas 7.5 Kuyt 6.5 Gerrard 8 MOM Babel 6 Torres 6 ---- Benny 7 Finally, Bentley might be an upgrade on Penners but why would we spend 15m or siilar on him?? Bring in Diego

Seems like Rafmeister is taking no gambles on maximising the pressure on the Bitters. Let's get the 3 points today lads...

For f''' sake Darren Peacock

---------Reina--------- Rafinha-Carta-Agger-Barry ----Poulsen--Masch---- Gerrard--Diego--Cole-- --------Torres----------- Subs: Skrtel Arbeloa Kuyt Babel

Looks a decently strong lad. Think he'd do well in the Prem.

Patrik Berger. Having watched Barca-Getafe he is a much different player than I expected. Much more a "box to box - killer final pass" midfielder than Xabi (the latter being more composed/tactical). The Swedish commentators are wetting themselves singing his praises. A very good player indeed. I still prefer Diego though!

Reina 7 Carta 7 Skrtel 8 Sami 9, MOM Riise 7, best so far this season you Norwegiad Reddie Lucas 5 Xabi 7 Babel 7 Gerrard 8 Kuyt 7 Torres 8

Reina Carragher Skrtel Hyypia Aurelio Pennant Gerrard Alonso Babel Crouch Torres

Rafina replaced Alves in 73rd minute. Alves was very anonymous all night. Rafinha didn't have so much time but seemed to be quick and dirty as f***. My opinion about Diego stands, MOM easily and seemd to be everywhere on the pitch

Ok , I know it's just 1 half but having watched 45 mns of Brazil-Sweden, I'm 200% sold on the guy. His workrate, guile, passing, movement, and eye for goal makes him the perfect #10 in my eyes. Would be the ideal creator behind Torres. Get him in RAFA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS So far Alves has been rather quiet. Leiva and Rafinha on the bench...

Reina 8 Carta 7 Sami 7 Skrtel 7 Aurelio 7 Masch 9, MOM Leiva 7 Babel 5 Kuyt 5 Gerrard 7 Torres 8

My guess: ---Reina---- Carta-MS-SH-Arbeloa --SG--Monster-- Kuyt--Benny--Babel-- ----El Nino---

--------Reina----- Alves-Agger-Skrtel--Downing -----Alonso----Masch----- "Ronaldo-clone"--Gerrard---Babel-- ---------Torres--------- That would be one hell of a team.

Reina 6 Riise 5 Skrtel 6 Carta 7 Arbeloa 8 Alonso 7 Leiva 7 Benny 6 Pennant 5 Gerrard 9, MOM Torres 8.5

Reina 6 Arbeloa 7 Carta 7 Skrtel 7 Riise 7 Alonso 7 Masch 7 Babel 6 Gerrard 9, MOM Kuyt 7 Torres 9

We're really becoming comfy and finding rhythm with this 4-2-3-1 system. Strong in defence and several options when we attack, Even Riise andArbeloa is getting fwd today and Kuyt has had some great touches as well.

Reina 5 Carta 6 Skrtel 6 Sami 6 Aurelio 6 Masch 7 Alonso 6 Gerrard 7 Kuyt 6 Babel 8, MOM Torres 5
