  1. 1. N/A 2. Yes 3. YES 4. Already boycotting all home games (started this season) and merchandise (for the last 2 seasons)
  2. I remember Rafa saying in an interview once that they have a saying in Spain that sometimes 'you can feel the colours of the club' and that this is how he felt about us. He definitely ' got us' as some have said. One of our greats in my eyes and I wish him nothing but success with Inter and wherever else he may coach. YNWA Rafa
  3. Apart from all the obvious one already mentioned I have a personal one. It was just before the game against the mancs, I think it was Morientes first game for us. I had a seat in the main stand and had come down to the front while the players were warming up to get his autograph and get a picture with him. I didn't have a pen so he got one from the steward and then I couldn't get the camera to work!! Took me what seemed an eternity to get it going, he didn't move while I fixed it, he just stood there smiling, and once I got the camera working I was about to take the picture and he handed my camera to the steward and looked at me and said 'together, no?' Thanks for everything Rafa YNWA....
  4. I woke up this morning with a heavy heart, I have been waiting and dreading this announcement all day. A man who displayed courage, dignity, humility and a man who ' felt the colours of our club' from day one. A man who didn't attend his fathers funeral to be with us, a man who outed those c**** before anyone had an inkling, a man who got us to within a whisper of number 19, a man who gave me the greatest night of my life in Istanbul, 25.05.05, number 5. Thanks Rafa, YNWA.
  5. Don't think that house is owned by any player, its being sold as a leasehold property! Surely any player would have bought the place Freehold, then again who knows, maybe the club owns it. £3.3 million plus the annual rent on the lease should pay for Shelveys fee and his wages for a couple of years
  6. Guess your right, i'll put my passport back in the drawer.
  7. If we get to Hamburg!! 12000!! I don't know how many the stadium holds but thats a joke!!! The club have said 7 european games for ST and FC holders will get one, those with 6 will go into a ballot.....
  8. Yeah some sky guy 'believes' that the BA chairman will take over as our chairman at some point next week and this is to 'entice new investors' and means that the 2 cowboys will step down as co-chairman, leaving this chappie to make us look a more attractive proposition, to potential investors. He stressed it has nothing to do with new finance etc and that it is just a re-structuring in the goverance of the club, he also said that Barclays are now charged with finding either an outright buyer or a smaller investment if they don't get their price..... in other words, new chairman, fat wage, but for the poor souls like us 'there is nothing to see here..'
  9. I was in our end in row 3 and there was def booing around me, then a couple of lads fell out over Rafa and there was another lad behind me saying Rafa is a s***house etc, it did get heated for a while then the bizzies came and took the lad from row one out, I was amazed he lasted so long actually, putting his thumbs up to the cctv cameras etc asking other fans around him if they were season ticket holders and how did they get their tickets, actually got a bit of a round of applause when they escorted him away. It was a strange noise when Torres was subbed because booing was breaking out and other lads started screaming at ppl to support the team and not boo etc Having said that our play brightened up after that and N'Gog did have a couple of chances, what I like about him more than anything is that he doesn't hide
  10. A work colleague is a friend of one of the younger villa lads, mark albrighton i think, anyway, the lad says o'neill is all about the first 11, not interested in the reserve and youth side of things and basically flogging his 'best 11' to death. Ashley Young is apparently injured and this lad feels he should be playing, he's only been given half hour earlier in the season. He says O'Neill just won't even acknowledge any of the reserves and youth. It could just be the lad whingeing but i've never ever had any inside info, and this is hardly earth shattering but I thought I would share it with you.
  11. Well those who wanted the SSN report can tune in now because it's just been on and was there 9am headline with some chap from Sky Italia on the phone saying Rafa would go in June and that it would cost Juve around 20 million euro's and that he would probably take the Aqua man with him...... so if the Doss was here i'm sure that he'd be leaving with him too
  12. cheers
  13. any streams for this one lads?
  14. I know its the daily mail but they are reporting on Fridays back page that there will be 10,000 of us protesting against GG and TH. Would love it to be true and hopefully with it hitting the rags maybe it will stir more reds to come and join us before the game
  15. every time i pick a seat and try to check out it keeps saying 'an undefined error has occured' my mates just called me and said he's getting same thing.... anyone have an answer??? arghhhh!!!!
  16. thanks for not posting mate
  17. Any streams guys?
  18. I'm sure if this is true then Rafa has a plan, he's doesn't seem to be the kind of person who leaves things to chance, maybe he wanted to get Yossi tied up so that he could get top dollar
  19. Didn't Yossi just sign a new contract recently? if this is true then surely Rafa must have some one else lined up
  20. Translation?
  21. what about him?
  22. Watch it get really stupid in here now!!!!
  23. I haven't bought a kit for the last 2 years because i thought we had a boycott on!! obviously i need to log in a little more often by the way that white kit looks about right, its a lot like the kit Spain are playing in at the moment
  24. The word is used too often and too easily but it applies to this man in so many ways and on so many levels..... LEGEND...... I am happy for him as he clearly wants to play for another couple of years, but I feel very sad today, the same hollow feeling when Robbie left for the first time and when lil Luis left...... I wish him nothing but the best and I hope we get to give him a send off against Spurs on the final day, nothing would be more fitting than if he could lift the premiership trophy that day.....
  25. From todays Daily Post..... RAFAEL BENITEZ has shrugged off what he believes is a “co-ordinated attack” by Sir Alex Ferguson and Sam Allardyce after the duo attempted to sully his reputation. Close friends Ferguson and Allardyce joined forces yesterday in launching a curious broadside at the Liverpool manager over an incident during his team’s 4-0 win over the Allardyce’s Blackburn Rovers last Saturday. But the pair were left even more red-faced than usual after it emerged they had completely misunderstood Benitez’s actions. After Fernando Torres headed Liverpool’s second against Blackburn, television replays showed Benitez smiling before making a seemingly innocent hand gesture towards his own players. However, that was enough for Manchester United manager Ferguson to continue his unremitting assault on his title rival by describing the signal as an unforgivable show of contempt towards a fellow Premier League manager. A clearly distressed Allardyce, speaking at a separate media conference yesterday, believes it was a “disrespectful” and “humiliating” gesture that “typifies the man”. Benitez, though, has dismissed the furore the pair were creating, and a source close to the Liverpool manager said: “Rafa has laughed off what is clearly a co-ordinated attack on him.” Emiliano Insua and Xabi Alonso were stood over the free-kick and the understanding is that after Benitez told them to deliver the set-piece in a certain way, Alonso ignored the request and struck the cross from which Torres scored. Benitez’s subsequent reaction was merely to show the pair that perhaps the manager doesn’t always know best, and the players were right." Pair of inbred t***s! Ginsoak and his fat lapdog look like complete tools!!
