  1. yes there is, this is a liverpool FC fans website and this is something that could affect liverpool FC fas yes I was, which is why I said I was shocked to here the way people where speaking at Wigan
  2. Really shocked at how many, normally mild mannered and calm reds are talking about the FA cup game against Utd on Saturday I was amazed at how many people where going on about potential 'kicks offs' at half time at the Wigan game I think this one is gonna be as tasty outside the ground as it is in it. Me, I will be keeping away from it all and watching from a distance with my flask and butties.
  3. 13 points we have dropped out of 21. We could of been playing Arsenal on Tuesdsay and win would of put us TOP of the league. Amazing isnt it, we where all talking about how great chelsea are and how the league was over and if we had won FIVE games in which we dropped points this year we could of gone top on Tuesday. Another thing that will make the players feel even worse, if we had beaten Bolton, Charlton and Birmingham - all games we should of won we could of got within five points of Cheslea if we win our game in hand on Tuesday even after losing to Chelsea and Man Utd. Another angle, what could a little spending spree have acheived in January, what would the arrival of two top players and the boost to the quality and moral of the team done, could that have helped prevent this little blip and gace us a fantastic chance of winning the league. What a waste, what a time to have a little blip, but who says it won happen in the next six weeks or the six weeks after that, NEVER give up on any league title, the last six weeks prove why. Bolton, Charlton and Birmingham - f'ckin ell lads you could of been right up there and Chelsea would of sh't themselves
  4. Yes - but as always I put it across better than you
  5. I am more worried about his heading, especially when in front of goal It is like his head is a 50 pence peice and the ball seems to bounce off it at all sort of strange angles. He will be OK though crouch, especially next season when he has two other strikers to help him out a bit. He is something different, problem is, we dont have anything else at the minute so when his form dips, as it has the last month, we are f'cked up front. Morientes and Ciise have not given us three great games between them since they have been at the club. We have made huge progress in the league from last season, even with this little slump we are having. But the board need to back him with proper money this summer, not free transfers etc, proper money to buy a right winger and two strikers. They should be able to get a few quid for ciise and morientes. Owen is a bang on cert to come back for £12 million cos there is not a chance in hell Newcastle will qualify for Europe. They should get £8/9 million for ciise and morientes. If they are serious about challenging chelsea, then they need to spend serious money on a winger and two strikers.

  7. Why are you arguing with me about football rules you nut case, is it me who makes up the rules ? It is a red card offence if you raise your hands and then touch another player abover the shoulders. That is what Reina did, he knew by doing this he would get sent off. End of argument. I am not arguing about things other players did, don't give a monkeys about Chelsea players, our player lost his cool and got sent off. So stop f'ckin bleatin about it, you weren't on here bleating on Thursday about how unfair it was that birmingham got a man sent off. Hypocrital whingers the lot of yeh As for being lucky at the end of the first half, HE SPILLED THE F'KCIN BALL, that is why he was lucky. Again, he made a mistake and SPILLED THE BALL. And teh actual crespo goal was a great finish, but a keeper of his size should not of got beaten at that angle without getting anything anywhere near it How wrong am I ? F'ckin ell you gang of whining tarts, OK when it goes our way and bleat when it doesnt. PS I would of moaned had he come for the looping header against brum and missed it
  8. He stood on his line for a split second and then moved sideways along his line towards alsono. The fact it was looping back across the box was the reason he shoulf of done better. As soon as he saw the header come across he should of gone forward straight away and tried to punch or catch it. Two steps forward he would of had to take, you have you seen how f'ckin big he is. Instead he stayed on his line for a while and then moved across his line to the side. As for the move as qucik as the ball, did you see how f'ckin quick that header from ferdiand came straight at him and he still managed to move, dive and get a hand to it. If he had been positive as soon as that header started looping back across the goal and attacked it, moving forward straight away it would not of get anywhere near alonso cos he would of punched it away on the edge of his six yard box
  9. So why didnt he then see the header come across goal and then move out, what, two yards and attempt to punch or catch it before it got to alonso ? Dont confuse me with facts like, so be carefull how you answer
  10. My point is that reina should of been off his line and claiming it in the air after it was headed back across goal BEFORE it got to alonso Instead he stayed on his line when it was headed back across goal and that is what caused the confusion
  11. So you think a keeper should stay rooted to his line and allow a looping header to come back across his goal and bounce in his six yard box ? It was not entirely the keepers fauly, obviously alonso shares repsonsibility but a dominant keeper should NEVER let the ball bounce in his six yard box The goal against birmingham came from a corner, headed back across goal which was then allowed to bounce three yards from the goal line in the middle of the goal cos the keeeper never came for it The crespo finish was a brilliant finish, but he should not of got beaten from that angle without even getting a hand, or leg to it The rest of your rant, don't understand a word of it
  12. That has nothing to do with the fact that the reason reina got sent off was reina, not robben He raised his hand and touched the face of another player - straight red. This after doing a bruce lee scissor kick right in front of the linesman We are turning into a bunch of whining hypocrites. We have had about three of four dodgy sendings off in our favour this season and we whine when it happens to us, the sending off against Birmingham was NOT a sending off, Reina's was.
  13. He deserved a straight red, simple You can not raise your hands to another player above the chest and make contact with them It went in our favour anfield a couple of weeks ago against Newcastle Sorry, but all this whining is doing my head in, it was Reina's fault, no one elses. He lost his cool and raised his hand to another player, that is an automatic red card He shouldnt of been beaten from that angle by crespo, he was luckly when he spilled it at the end of the first half and it was disallowed for offside, he should of been more dominant in his box when alonso scored the own goal against brum when it was allowed to drop in our six yard box with the keeper no way near it and he f'cked up against bolton as well when he dropped it. Bad month for Reina all round. Dont care if people have a go at me, he has made three mistakes now in four game sthat have cost us

  18. Things that stick out for me from the games at Man Utd and Chelsea 1) We are a good team but not yet quite the finished article. We were in control for long periods of both games but lack the killer instinct up front or the wonderfull wing play etc out wide to create something from nothing agains the top teams at times 2) Gerrard right against the very best teams is IMO wasted and does not get into the games enough but that will be sorted when we eventually get a right winger 3) It is not right up front, and that along with right wing is the main area we need to address this summer, hopefully we will get robbie fit and he will do a 'mcallister' for us. We badly need a bit of top, top class up front, the keeper, defence and midfield is nearly there But overall I still think we will finish 2nd and folwer will score the winner at Cardiff and in Paris Next year, with two new strikers and a right winger we might finally have a team that can properly make a go of it over the space of a season against Chelsea
