The exhaustion has to be mental (a bit like I feel when I watch us) or they are doing some really weird stuff in training, where they are exhausted from that, and therefore are consistently outrun by the opposition. There is just so much wrong with absolutely everything about our game, that I can't believe the people in power don't know, and aren't taking steps to fix this.

Went away for the weekend, so only caught up with our game late last night. Am sure I wasn't alone in being completely unsurprised by the outcome. I can actually understand the club not wanting to replace him now. Just look at what's happened to this appalling Spurs team that we were too s*** to beat. But if he doesn't go in the summer, I may take a year off from following us because it's like banging your head against a wall.

Think for that first one he was caught between trying to foul him and trying to save it, and settled on doing neither.

That hattrick from Valverde was something else. Three very different goals but they were all fantastic.

Clery. He had a vid about how we might be better / more balanced with Bradley (since teams were attacking us much more down our right, to take advantage of Trent not wanting to defend). So it was kinda fair enough and I think he did even mention that Bradley has a lot of injuries, but also just all his videos were about how perfect and great all our signings were gonna turn out. So in summary, it's all Clery, Slot, and Trent's fault.

Thought he was gonna rival Champion's league winner Djimi Traore with an OG for the ages. Scorpion kick into his own net. Instead he just set it up for the tap in.

He also explained how we might actually be much better without Trent. So it's still all his fault.

Everyone is going the wrong way. The only player who is better this season than last is Dom, and obviously that's nothing to do with the boss. I wonder if Big Sam, Ten Hag or Chat GPT could do much worse.

yep. Think I'd even prefer away at Arsenal than away to City. Of all the possible combinations, away at City was the worst. And then Arsenal and Chelsea effectively getting byes to the next round. sigh.

We should be playing him more centrally because he's still a good finisher most of the time (just confidence shot / snatching at stuff recently). Ronaldo, and Messi both moved more centrally when they lost some pace. Isak has been injured for 2+ months, and if Ekitike is getting a rest, I'd rather see Salah up front than Gakpo.

I love those moments were it looks like a couple of our players - with and without the ball are going to move in a running motion, and then just to fool everyone, we quickly revert back to walking pace. So clever.

Set up nicely for Wolves to score again with their first attempt at goal. Has actually been very similar to the game a few days ago - we have all the ball, and all the shots, without creating any real chances or breaking a sweat. Great stuff.

I woke up this morning and felt annoyed when I remembered we were playing today. This in itself is annoying.

I choose not to watch this, because seeing how bad we are in games is bad enough. Also, Cleary promised us that every one of our summer signings was going to be the best in the world ever, and perfect, and he therefore carries some of the blame for the mess we find ourselves in.

Arsenal fans won't care if they win the league, but I'm glad everyone is finally starting to call them out for the boring, weird and unpopular cheats that they are.

I saw a load of new pages to this thread this morning. Reminded me of the summer transfer thread, when exciting things were happening if there were loads of new pages... and so this morning I thought maybe he'd been sacked. Obviously wishful thinking, but I'm increasingly feeling like he's a spoofer. It just makes no sense to set the team up as he does every single week, and then just chuck all the subs on, play everyone in a different position vs what they were doing 5 mins previously and then lose another game to a last minute goal. Just having no manager and our players work it out between them would almost certainly result in a better outcome.

The collective s***ness of most teams means somehow we are still only 3 points off 3rd place. Sad to feel that if we get CL, it will be despite our manager rather than because of him.
