You could be right. I'm sure City are out there right now, quietly lobbying the clubs and owners they think will not want to see them expelled from the PL. Personally, I want them expelled from the PL and the Football League. What they've done for 17 years is reprehensible. When they're sorted, the next step is to get rid of all the spineless gits at the PL, who let things get to where we are today.

Absolutely. There's lots of people who have walked away from both sports. My neighbor, Jimmy, was a lifelong Yankee, and NY Giants, fan. When money, and especially TV, took over, he just stopped watching. For most people it's all about the money. We're in the Tampa area this weekend. I looked at tickets for a baseball game and an NFL game. Unless you are ok in the nose bleed section, tickets are $200 each, including fees and parking.

This is all going to fall apart isn't it? City will get some minor punishment, and be allowed to continue as if nothing has happened. There's clearly no way that the UK government, and certain PL clubs, will allow the appropriate penalties to City. The game of football, especially in England, will potentially be irrelevant. Fans should walk away and find somewhere else to spend their hard earned money, but we all know that the blinkers will go on and this will be an afterthought in the not too distant future.
