Yep. Had to walk through a few dainty doors with brass handles and glass panes and all. Must have been a hotel before that as well and they used the shell of it for the snooker hall for a while. Definitely a step up from snookerless Barney's on Marlborough Street but felt seedier in its own way. Snooker halls are mad like that, though, there was a deadly little one in Marino called Bill's down the back of a lane. God knows what it was used for originally—big long room with really low ceilings. One day we went down and there was brand-new apartments there, locals denying all knowledge of a snooker establishment, nothing to see here, please move on...
