  3. That's gross. You could see a lump forming on it when he was on the stretcher all right.
  4. Damn it, I see pictures like that and I start feeling sorry for him.

  7. That is tremendous. Fingers crossed for fake tan as well.
  8. Your sarcasm is based on a false premise. I obviously don't 'support' them if I don't go to the matches. Or 'follow' even. It's more like external association (football)...

  21. Yep. Had to walk through a few dainty doors with brass handles and glass panes and all. Must have been a hotel before that as well and they used the shell of it for the snooker hall for a while. Definitely a step up from snookerless Barney's on Marlborough Street but felt seedier in its own way. Snooker halls are mad like that, though, there was a deadly little one in Marino called Bill's down the back of a lane. God knows what it was used for originally—big long room with really low ceilings. One day we went down and there was brand-new apartments there, locals denying all knowledge of a snooker establishment, nothing to see here, please move on...
  22. Yeah I was kind of excited when we signed him. Unique in the game, unplayable, etc., etc.—bought into all of that.
  23. No there was a place with snooker and pool mid-90s where the hotel is now. Same ornate front and everything. Definitely called Pierrot's. Never played snooker in Ringsend in my life!
  24. Went to Knightsbridge a good few times and never scored Used to play snooker there as a youngfellow when it was The Pierrot Club.
  25. Used to hang around with Portmarnock heads in college so went out to Tamangos a good few times. Good times. I ended up in Club M the year before last at the end of a low-key stag, though, and it was ten times as horrific as I remembered it. Never been to Sachs, must have been to Barry's at some stage.
