Maybe he thought the Final was always played on the same date each year? Must be confusing if you only do one European Away every five years.

Of course I'll get slagged for mentioning it, but he didn't set the world on fire when he was at West Ham - did he have injury problems there or did he get a run of games? Contrary to popular belief, I don't watch West Ham so I wouldn't know.

Not sure if I agree with that - I was always very left-footed as a kid but now that I am playing again as a Vet I find that my right is more than useful. I also coach a kid's team and it is amazing how few of the kids have ever been told to practice with their weaker foot.
