I asked about Elliott yesterday and was told - Harvey is a Villa player. Transfer fee agreed, player wages and bonuses agreed but the loan arrangement was to work around Villa’s PSR issues. We worked with Villa because of long standing interest in Rogers, Kamara and (surprisingly) Konsa. Villa’s PSR issues are worse than thought and they don’t want to commit £££ to Elliott.

I always thought Bastoni would never leave Italy but there have been noises. Everyone would want him.

I think this increases Konate signing a new deal, this and Saturday. Hearing that he was massively moved by the crowd after his dad's death.

I’ve heard that Newcastle’s giant flatbed truck has arrived at Anfield to take that big dolt Dan Burn back to Tyneside.
