Am I being over critical when I say I’ve seen this episode before? Lots of possession, no urgency and inevitable concession of a goal from a counter attack.

I worry the good performances are from players being professionals and playing in THEIR way because the consistent regression to s***, slow football comes after he’s had a week to coach them. I can’t believe he’s still here.

Quansah is weird, he paid for Isak first year. We banked £35m last year but buying him for £50m over 6 years (what I heard) only hits as £8.6m per year. I hate figures and I am 100% sure someone can explain that bit better.

I’d caveat that - Slot has no plans to resign Quansah. The clause wouldn’t be there if the club had NO plans and the club wouldn’t bind future transfer decisions like that. Hughes, Ward and Edwards rate Quansah and are very aware of the prevalence of young defenders struggling in Premier League but have a thriving career when more experienced. Also hearing clubs (not just us) are trying to explore more player exchanges to skirt the PSR rules but I am bit confused about the explanation I got.

Gakpo has suitors in Germany and Italy with his value being more than we paid and his wages are HIGH. Gravenberch has two years left and club not sure he wants to renew.
