Ok I am f***ing delighted that he is coming to Anfield but a word of warning the first fukcer to dampen my mood by posting a variation of the lightening seeds england travesty of a song gets banned thank you

we did not play a flat five across the middle no we didn't

and as such pay 4 million or so in wages for a player that may struggle to make the bench or take 4 million less on a player whose value is only going to drop if they don't play him what's their reason to not sell again and what benefit would it be to them to pay him to sit on the bench? you really don't want him to sign do you

I honestly don't know if it is correct and as to whether it is justified is a difficult one. Probably not but he would be one of the few players out there that would be worth that much. It was also reported that he took a pay cut to go to Madrid so that at least suggests it isn't all about the money

about the only reply I caoudn't rant in response to I honestly don't think it is as simple as Owen keeping the fee low to raise the stakes with wages, I genuinely think that lad has seen the error of his ways and will come back flying

and you are absolutely not guilty of spinning here are you?

That I agree with CF as NHE said it is not an open market but I am not overly concerned with the price itself, if Moores is happy to pay it and Benitez is happy for the money to be spent that is good enough for me

They paid a low price because he had only a year left on his contract the only thing that matters is whether he is worth the price. The price they paid is irrelevant

No it isn't, what if he had gone for 4 million would he be worth 8? it is not relative to what we sold him for it is only relative to what he is worth. If he is worth 15 million, although I don't think he will cost that, he is worth signing if not he isn't At this juncture despite me having a lot of time for Cisse I would rather Owen at 15 than Cisse at 14

It's not about what he went for it is only about is he the best we can buy for the price, I think that 15m is steep but is he worth the money, that's the only consideration Posts merged: neither are facts to be honest but has it not crossed your mind that FSP not having any takers influenced the decision to play him I am not saying either is the case because I don't know but you really do need to stop reacting to peoples posts based upon your opinion of a player you should really read Benitez' post in the General forum

not attributed to the S*n ??
