So if Barry had signed as well then Keane wouldn't have struggled like he has? So how would we have lined up? This is getting f***ing ridiculous now, Keane scored loads of goals at Spurs last season with Jenas and Huddlestone in midfield, and now without Barry he can't fit in and "Parry f***ed Rafa over"????? If Keane leaving within 6 months for a big loss after totally failing to fit in at Anfield isn't a big deal because of his pointy, arm wavey, nasty dressing room influency,playings***ness - then surely the fact that we as a club agreed to pay so much f***ing money for a player we apparently never needed in the first place should be? Who scouted such an inappropriate player and thought he was worth £20M, Parry? Who identified him as one of two major Summer signings, Parry? Who thought he would fit in and adapt to our system, then almost immediately decided he couldn't, Parry? And who has left us so light on the ground that Kuyt is our number 2 striker, Parry?

As opposed to now where if you take Torres and Gerrard away we are flying are we? And if you come to Anfield to defend we are truly f***ed as demonstrated many times this season already by the giants of Stoke, Fulham etc, which could lead to the question of whether we actually have much of a Plan A to start with? This debacle of a public pissing contest between Rafa and Parry has cost us between £4M and £8M depending on who you believe plus Keane's pay off as he said he wanted to stay - and we are now one hamstring twinge away from Kuyt up front - and Kuyt playing up front may I remind you all is the main reason he now plays wide right. And this is a great day for Liverpool??? And in the Summer when we don't spend £20M on whoever Rafa wants then because of this farce and the wasted Millions, no-one will mind???? What did we pay for Cavilieri on top of what we paid for Itandje who is still at the club and all for a keeper to play 3 games a season? - Cudicini has just moved for £0M. Riera looks good value for £5M but he's hardly flourished, whether he's been more effective on the left of a 4-4-2 than Babel was for the second half of last season in a 4-2-3-1 is open to debate for me.

Flourished isn't the word for Riera - he started well, quickly plateau'd and his performances have dropped off lately - thats hardly flourishing is it? Thought Kuyt demonstrated stamina and running power many a Kenyan would be proud of and very little else. He's got a touch like a wall and creates nothing apart from taking the ball up to the fullback/midfielder and trying to tackle past him. We are still so poor out wide its ridiculous.

Absolutely bizarre - Rafa buys keane, Keane doesn't fit in or play well, therefore Rafa didn't want Keane he really wanted Barry because Rafa couldn't f*** up that badly????? Although I'm yet to be convinced by Dossena I'd have to question this statement.

He certainly isn't thin and he certainly isn't quick, he makes 'Fat Frank' Lampard look anorexic(sp?). Last two games he's done alright and I've said so, makes me smile that when a fullback actually blocks a couple of shots and gets a cross in he's suddenly excellent. So far he's been distinctly below average and everyone knows it.

I've been a big critic of Kuyt since he arrived but am happy to admit that so far this season he is proving the doubters wrong - I've been very impressed with him to be honest. The stick he took wasn't unwarranted at all though, he was gash for quite a while and the fact that he has improved almost beyond recognition doesn't rewrite history!
