Watched the game again this afternoon, pretty drunk Tuesday to be honest! They're just wrong, we didn't hold the ball as well as Barca of course we didn't, but 2nd half who had most shots? Who had most clear cut chances? Who made the most saves, and bloody lots more? As for them not turning up, they played as well as we let them in both games, we play a different game to be Barca and we played our game better than we let them play theirs. Both results flattered them hugely. We were awesome.

It appears that anything other than proclaiming him our best and most important player, the reason for our alleged extra dimension this season is heresy. I would point out that we currently have less points this season than at this stage last season without him, we have completely outplayed two of the biggest sides in world football at home last week and not scored a single goal, and he is technically a striker who is ultimately judged on goals and results, but that would be petty. FWIW I don't dislike him, but unlike many on here I don't want to turn gay and sh@g him either.

Utter B*****it mate, last night for 60 minutes we were easily the best team on the pitch against the reigning European champions and the team universally recognised as the best attacking side on the planet. Then we tired and as a former 'not bad' defender myself I can assure you that when clearing the ball, the further it goes the longer you have to regroup and reorganise which is what we did. Over 180 minutes we comprehensively outplayed Barcelona and to 'only' go through on away goals was a travesty, as anyone who actually knows anything about football could see, you obviously couldn't. We weren't merely good last night we were F'ing outstanding, and I will not allow any moaning ***** that don't know world class defending from their own a******s to bring me down. I know that LB and LM are more urgent than RB & RM but Alves is such a massive talent if there's any chance at all of getting him then we should. And I'm not jumping on any bandwagon my lad has been raving about him for 18 months.

And where exactly are we chasing having had Kuyt all season then?

We don't get enough goals from midfield and something is going to have to change to improve that. I'm not sure what it is but we need 30 - 35 goals as a minimum from our midfield and we aint getting anywhere near that.
