Aye, I'm detached. Whatever. I've been a Liverpool fan for 24 years. I've seen good seasons and bad. I've seen the highs of winning the league, European Cup, and domestic cups, and the lows of Heysel and Hillsborough. I'm as attached as any Liverpool fan is, and you can feck off for questioning it. We just finished a 16-game unbeaten run - perspective is realizing that we just lost a game we dominated in conditions that were barely playable, throwing things at the telly during the game but knowing it doesn't make us a s*** team all of a sudden afterwards. You're damn right we've no god given right to finish in the top four, although the way some of you lot carry on you'd think we do. Take away the cups for a moment, are you kidding me? That's like saying "Take away the temperature, is the summer any warmer than the winter?" The Champions League win was my best moment as a fan in the past 15 years, I'll take it thank you very much. You kids can bitch, whine, and knee-jerk all you want to after a game - but don't cry when people come along with the opinion that you're idiots for doing so.
