Here's a list of humble footballers: Beardsley Dalglish Rush Aldridge Nicol Houghton Beglin Wark Kuyt Reina Finnan Carra Agger Sami Alonso Crouch I could go on and on, but I think the point is made. There's a difference between players who take the piss with their skill - Barnes, McManaman, Hagi, Ronaldinho, etc - and those who are c**** while they're doing it - Ronaldo, Diouf, etc. There are just as many c**** in other sports, we just see more in football cause it's the one we watch the most.

That was a strange game out there today. It wasn't that we couldn't unlock their defence, or that we need a "version of Ronaldo" (whatever the f*** that means), it was like we went out there trying not to sweat too much. Gerrard spent most of the time looking glum, Sissoko was way off track, even Carra seemed less vocal than usual.

And as has been noted in the 2 pages since, the only reason we'd sell Alonso is if he wanted to leave us. That does not make us a second rate team.
