It's a sign of the times, that's all. Inevitable. If we spend 200 million on players and win the league a few times will I love the club more than I do now? I never rated Heskey - but with hindsight his contribution was pretty good. Compared to our other big-money signing strikers in the past decade or so he now looks like a shining light in a sea of s****. He did far, far more for us than Cisse in my view. Despite being a big pansy who couldn't play.
