    Argentina need a change of formation. 433 with Dybala upfront along with Messi and Aguero maybe. Something different than this anyway. Croatia look really good though. They should fancy their chances in this as there’s not many teams that stand out so far.

    I think the defender slid in, got a slight touch, Griezmann then played the ball again and was tripped. So it’s a pen.

    Defo. Even if he was good enough before (he wasn’t), he isn’t recovering from that. Nor should he be given the chance to attempt to.

    Thought it was beyond us when Salah went off. There’s enough evidence in the last few months of the massive drop off when he’s not on the pitch. A new keeper, two new midfielders (including Keita) and at least one good forward three player and no reason we can’t have a good go again next season.

    On the bright side he’s finally done. He’d somehow convinced people he was worth sticking with and was worried Klopp was one of them. So much for the ‘its not worth spending £60m on a keeper because they’re only worth x amount of points’ argument anyway.

    I know I’m being negative but the game can’t continue at this pace or there’s only one winner. Just worry we’re not capable of a fast tempo without Salah. The evidence of the last few months when Salah’s not played doesn’t inspire confidence. It’s so annoying as thought we looked really good in the first 30.

    Apparently it's just the way they did the ballot. Something like the 'match ticket' (ballot entry) went down from £0.01 to £0.00 which is the 'offer'

    Pretty like for like in terms of aways, Wolves instead of West Brom and Cardiff instead of Swansea. Villa instead of Stoke would be decent too.

    Remember you saying how important it was that one of those chances went in. Was exactly right. Could have been different had he scored early in the season although ultimately don’t think he looks anywhere near the level we need.
