Maldini

I'm on-board the Nunez Express. The problem before was he was an expensive flop, if he's coming back on a free, on a reasonable wage and prepared to play an Origi level role for a year or two then it makes more sense to me

Scott was pretty heavily linked before he went to Bournemouth from what I remember. Seems like a bit of a horizontal move to go from Jones to him though.

Japecht Izokor Garan sounds like a Klingon

Bayern trying very hard to be Real here I think

Farkas looks like a great prospect, played most of the season for the 18s and got loads of assists. Talented #10 or inverted winger. Haven't seen any of the others

It would leave us without Gakpo though so every cloud...

Vincent Joseph must be off though if he hasn't been announced

Joshua Abe has decided to stay with us, turned down interest from United, City, Chelsea and Madrid

Enrique signing a new 4 year deal with PSG apparently so it won't be him

He's stuck in the airport like Tom Hanks in that movie

Imagine the club release a three second video this afternoon and it's just Klopp turning to the camera and saying "Boom!"

I f***ing hate all these pricks

I was thinking earlier that this might be the least hopeful time we've had since Souness. We've had worse teams but we had the pieces you could build a good team around. At different times McManaman, Fowler, Owen and especially Gerrard gave us the hope that with a few good signings and a bit of luck we could contend. I don't know who you're building a team around at the moment.

I think it's £67m this summer and £52m next summer

I think I was being too subtle above

Indykaila saying Chelsea are trying for Konate. How are we going to voice our disdain if he goes there?

A 35-year-old, a guy who can't stay fit, a guy who has never played in the league before and a kid coming off an ACL. What could possibly go wrong?

If the point of a DOF is to have continuity should a manager leave why have we given him and Edwards contracts the same length as the manager. Looking very likely all three senior football figures will be gone for 27/28 (along with half the squad)

Mad that we are seemingly going to pay a £40-60m fee to replace Konate instead of paying him say £10-20m over the course of his contract

Yeah, the performance of productivity is more important than the productivity itself.

Crazy how quickly all of this has fallen apart really isn't it. The hubris of it all. Seems to be overarching theme of life in general at the moment doesn't it.

I think he'd be brilliant in Italy. The slower pace would suit his game.

We need a few absolute pricks in this squad, we're too nice

Reports in Germany have us in talks for that wünderkind DM Kenneth Eichorn. Every bit club is in for him though it seems

There was a bit of talk a couple of months back that Slot was going to integrate Luca Stephenson into the squad as RB cover. He's done well in Scotland but it's a huge jump. He's been linked with Rangers as well though so who knows.
