Its been confirmed that the case is due to be heard tomorrow at the High Court of Justice - any time after 10:30 About 17:00ish reports surfaced that the other bidder a guy from Singapore - surname Lim, est worth $1.6 billion was going to come back with a better bid and tried to rubbish the NESV bid, talking about debt on the club. Sounds like a last throw of the dice by Hicks...the bidder from Singapore seems v dodgy...made his money from a number of Man Utd bars in Asia.

WTF - as others have said, sounds like Spin from the Hicks camp to me or something to that effect. The board have already agreed to sell to NESV - paperwork signed, if they were to go back on there agreement that would open us up to legal challenge from NESV i would think!

Better still, LFC are sold and due to the nature of debt and personal guarantees H&G (or Mill Financial) are still liable for the penalties incurred, and therefore stand to lose more than the 140 Million. I know....perfect world but i can dream

I would guess that though RBS gave two weeks grace, this didnt stop us from being put in default as the loan was still due for repayment on the 6th

I read that RBS are pushing for Monday but there hasnt been a confirmation yet as far i am aware - RBS are pushing to get it heard ASAP

The comment i saw on Twitter (ben_smith iirc) was that they are being seen as a backup only, after all they have accepted the bid from NESN and after seeing there WWW yesterday I dont think there going to walk away soon. They must have known that H&G would try and drag it out
