  1. I get this isn't how it works, but I would be f***ing raging if any of the people at fault for this f***ing joke of a season fancy greener pastures if we miss the European Cup for a season. Not that it matters, as holders get into it again anyway
  2. Our heads haven't fallen off at least. Baby steps.
  3. There is no way you were thinking that at the time. I couldn't wait to see him. I watched the Senegal v France game knowing that we'd agreed to sign him (or at least that we'd been strongly linked) and I was sure we had Maradona coming in. I couldn't wait. If anyone had come in telling me about his goal record over the previous seasons I'd have discounted their opinion immediately and gone back to enjoying football. That was before I was on this forum, mind.
  4. Whilst I am aware that it couldn't, I want that analysis to include whether a VAR decision was f***ing ridiculous or not. Disallowing Henderson's goal in the Derby shouldn't equal the same 'against' that, I dunno a blatant offside that was missed does. That list also doesn't include the Pickford and Van Dijk incident, which again I kinda get why not, but I just want it on the record damnit. Pleased to be thinking about all this again just before bed
  5. To clear things up no end, Andy Heaton has said on twitter (locked account so assume I can't link) that we need to "circle the wagons" because "I *think* it’s fine, but we all have a part to play now, dissenters taken to the wall" But also this So everyone knows where we are, yes?
  6. Just to add context to this I agree with the above that I just really feel for him. Whatever we're feeling is 100 times worse for him and he just looks broken
  7. I hate to make excuses for the inexcusable but I do wonder how it would have played out if they hadn’t done everything in their power to make their first onside
  8. f***ing f***ing hell
  9. I just can’t get my head round this
  10. Was about to say just this
  11. Salah falls over. No appeal or anything. Beglin still accuses him of hoping to con the ref for a pen. Jfc We look good, though
  12. Back when we were good. No wonder it seems a lifetime ago
  13. When was our last 12:30 kick off? This feels too early for football
  14. It's f***ing infuriating, particularly as Sterling's was just as soft but isn't getting any intention.
  15. Didn't city get relegated the season after winning the league in the 30s or something? So, either that stat has to be wrong, or it's gonna get a lot worse...
  16. I get that such a scoreline will poison the recollection of a game, but we really weren't 4-1 bad until Allison f***ed up and gave them 2 in 3 minutes or whatever it was. It was even in the first half, with them on top and then us, and we had the better chances if anything. Then Allison did his thing, they got their tails up and we gave up and it ends up an embarrassment. I still remember how I felt after Chelsea did us 4-1 at home, and I don't feel that bad. I'm taking that as a positive.
  17. No. It was 1-1 until the keeper decided to get a brace for himself. You can't put the change from 1-1 to 1-3 down to them subs
  18. Does it f***ing matter at this stage?
  19. Jesus f***ing Christ. I have no idea where we go from here. I'm so f***ing angry
  20. Are you f***ing joking me. Christ almighty
  21. We're a completely different team to last season. Even to earlier this season.
  22. f***s sake. Completely avoidable
  23. Get f***ing in! Let's be honest, it was soft, but only as soft as City's. Not our fault they bottled it.
