  1. The two big concerns I have about him are: 1. Record in the transfer market 2. Inability to organise a defence That said I'm only for sacking people when I think we can get better. I'm not convinced the owners will be phoning klopp/Rafa/ancelotti etc if he goes. I think Koeman etc is more likely. On that basis I favour leaving him there.

  4. Agreed: no chance he ends up at West Brom etc. He's no Jermaine Pennant.

  17. For me the two big questions about him are the signings and the defensive organisation which has basically never looked solid for a really sustained period. Both of these are fundamental to building a team: most managers start at the back because its easier to sort out. On the signings of course all managers have flops but the number of real successes in the three years is pretty alarming. That said I think anyone wanting him gone now needs to ask them self if they fancy the current regime to find, appoint and appropriately support someone better. I'm not sure I do. If I thought Klopp or Ancelotti or Simeone (who I think would be great for us - his football may not be the best to watch but he has something unusual in that you can see his players love playing for him and always give everything) were on the way then I'd be up for change. If its Koeman or AVB etc then I'd rather stay as we are. As I think the latter is more likely than the former, I tend towards sticking with Rodgers.

  19. To be fair the lad Goebbels was probably a bit more competent at putting a case than our characters.

    Raheem Sterling

    Ha, missed that one.

    Err...
  22. Agree 100%. (One of the more astonishing things about people saying Rafa 'had to go' etc was the complete inability to see that sacking someone is only generally a good idea if you can be pretty sure you're going to replace that person with someone who is better.) If Klopp is a goer or Ancelotti or Rafa or someone who's won stuff reasonably regularly I'd pull the trigger. Otherwise I'd stick.
  23. Given the way the medical community works I'm very sceptical of any claim that the methods used are out-dated and equally sceptical that anyone who knows anything about the subject would be passing it on.
  24. Is this something you actually know? If so if be interested to hear what these outdated methods are.
