I switched off as soon as Robben missed the penalty in extra time. It was patently obvious then that Bayern were going to choke. Still, as I said above, we have won it five times, anyone can win it once. Man City will probably grab one in the near future. To become European legends, you need to win it enough to keep the actual trophy. Chelsea are just another small etching in the list of winners. A footnote in the history of this competition. I have no idea now what to think. Are the owners being clinical in the interestes of Liverpool football club? Are we becoming Chelsea and panicking after one season?
