The delays at border control were dreadful. Waiting 4 1/2 hours to drive 200 yards. When the army/border control came on the bus to get our passports, I remember about a dozen empty beer cans fell out of the bus onto no mans land when the door was opened to let them on. I seem to recall they had rifles with them as well (but that bits a bit hazy). Has anyone seen the turnstiles for getting into the stadium? I reckon there are going to be loads that jib in. All those going, I recommend getting in early. I got in at Athens, but as soon as I got in they closed the gates. For that reason I got in an hour before the kick off last year, and it was all fine. Plus they were serving beer there, and the atmosphere was great.

To Kiev, two drivers didn't turn up, so we had 2 drivers for the whole 4000 or so miles. They were way over Thier legal limit. There were fights, vomit, fight, vomit and robbery the whole journey! We arrived an hour before kick off, after leaving 7am Thursday

Best of luck to you. After last year I decided that if I ever had to do a coach trip again I was going to rent a car and drive instead. I'm doing the Thomas Cook day flight this time. Thankfully Madrid is not as far a kiev.

I did a coach trip to Kiev, the only way of getting there. It was f***ing horrific.
