surely it would pay for itself over a number of years though? whilst i accept it is simply not a matter of knocking it down and building an new stand, there is all the lost season ticket revenue isnt there? I know it was considered in the feesibility study. Can anyone remember the figures?

as someone who wasn?t born in Ingurrland but who?s whom has been liverpool since the day i have been born (try and work it out) I am not english, and consequently england offer no excitement or attachment to me at all. Your guilty of a sweeping generalisation and frankly "I'm tired of the crap spouted by you and others" who generalise everyones opinion and offer personal and insulting remarks to people on the board and yet have no idea of the person they are insulting. Yet find it impossible to use whatever grey matter they have to offer something constructive without resorting simple point scoring. of course i am proud of liverpool its been my home since i was born, and of course i dont care about Iguurrland because i wasnt born here. Now i could call you a TOSSER but i wont resort to simple point scoring. reply as you see fit, but i will simply not reply to any of your comments.

I hate it when england play at anfield. I despise the thought that people sat in the "Kop Grandstand". (its not the kop on these occaisions, only Liverpool fans turn it into the Kop) that the whole world thinks Liverpool fans are shouting gary neville, david beckham, "england till I die" and all that other b******s. If it wasnt for liverpool players playing for or against liverpool, i wouldnt even watch the match, and generally turn off out of boredom if they get substituted.

good point, i think he should have the benefit of the doubt. to be fair to him, when the ball has been played to him whilst on teh right, his first touch has been ok. its his one trick after that which is the problem. however with his back to goal, he never moves of the ball. consequently everytime the ball comes to him he has a hairy great ape up his @rse which is enough for anyone to lose control of the ball. if he watched fowler a little more and moved more so that he can come of his man and receive the ball without being under pressure he would be 10 times a better player.

Ticket allocations for home CL matches

"they all seem to turn up bladdered" I see you point. my reference to "all" meant the irish fans who caused the two incidents i was talking about. there were 5 during the charlton game that my wife was at, and there was a large group on wednesday. My reference to "All" meant all those referred to on wednesday and against charlton. To be honest, for the life of me i thought it was obvious that i was referring to the two groups and not all irish fans in general, as suggesting something else is complete nonsense. And as i have mentioned my extended family are all Irish. Although i can now see how the sentence could be misinterpreted. SO i am happy to clear up any confusion. However even if i had meant "all" meaning every irish fan, (which i dont) then it still would not have been a racist remark. -

and another point, my grandfather is irish, so i have part irish blood in me. it is a fact that the irish fans i am talking about turned up p1ssed! thats not racist. For your information this is the definition of a racist "The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. Discrimination or prejudice based on race. " how on earth can what i said fall in to that category?? before you start accusing me of something as serious as being a racist, (which of course is breaking the law), then you should have very strong information that i am. if you dont, then dont start throwing around very serious allegations such as this one. -
my thoughts exactly. i think its great.

yeah, it was the stewards who came and told them all to go. My mate says that his mate said fooking irish so and so, next thing he was sorounded by a load of them. my wife and 5 year old had a similare experience with pissed up irish fans in the anny road at the charlton match. they all seem to turn up bladdered. Fortunately that incident never got out of hand. -

the lad who was getting heated with them was with my mate. was he wearing glasses? my mate says that he told them to shut up, but all that the irish guy would say is "specky four eyes, specky four eyes". all the irish got taken out the ground didnt they? do you know why all of them did? -

thanks, i think i might try there. however, i'm not sure if i will get lynched. I normally go with my mate who i sit next to in the kop for league games, but he cant get Champ league matches because his ST is not in his name. Consequently i will be going with some other people who can only get tickets for the champ league matches becuase they have fanc cards. one is the wife, the other is a cockney, and the other is a norwegian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do you think it will be safe if i turn up??????? (the cockney is a proper fan and went to istanbul with me, my wife goes to every game she can including some away. However i might add that my wife and I are from liverpool) -

i usually drink in the sandon, but it is to busy to get a pint. YOu can be queing for about 30 mins before you get served. I was thinking of moving down the road to the oakfield, is it any better there? -
what size is it compared to the big one on the kop now? the current one goes over my head every game.

cracking banner well done lads. i hate all this b****xs re ethos of our club and all that!!!!!!! in full cry, anfield is the most intimidating stadium in the world. Long may it continue. Anything that can be done to make it more intimidating is great. what is our alleged "ehtos" anyway???????? i've been a kopite for 20 years and still dont know.
