I can’t imagine he will want to stay on next season regardless of what the owners are saying. How can he remain at a football club where literally everyone thinks he’s a c***. Basic human dignity will surely kick in at some point.

Telling that there were far louder calls to boycott the previous four world cups than there are this one. In at least two of those cases (Brazil, Russia) such campaigns were linked to US Foreign Policy.
