Don't know if it was mentioned already but I think theres a possibility that Ayre mightn't be in Spain just to recruit players, but also to sell one .... Agger to Barcelona .... with Tello on a loan deal as a sweetener. If the money was good and BR was allowed spend it I'd let him go .... class player that he is. He IS injury prone and his great strength ... Bringing the ball out of defence and surging forward .... might not be required so much with players like Allen, Sahin and Lucas dropping deep to collect the ball.

Is it true that Rodgers, before he was even linked to us, had secured a place to travel with the Spanish squad tot the Euros as an observer? Vaguely remember hearing that somewhere

So where does he fit in with a new manager? Is he going to be imposed on the new boss?

Was Steve Clarke persuaded to stay or did he follow thru on his decision to leave out of loyalty to Kenny?

Michael Owen ..... Is a little bolllix

If Alonso came back it'd be almost as good as Kenny coming back, but can't see it unfortunately Robbie Keanes available ...... Please god no!

This probably won't mean a lot to most on here but Long was reckoned by a good few shrewd observers at underage level to be destined to be a top top hurler in the making.

Thanks be to jaysus for that!

Did anybody hear anything about Steve Staunton joining the coaching setup. Read about it somewhere recently and the article suggested it was going to happen . Hope to f**k they were wrong!

Just been told Comolli spoke to Shane Longs agent last week about a possible offer to Reading. It's our second time to make contact, the first was just after we missed out on Conor Wickham, and our offer of 4m was rejected. The source is Longs father who my Dad played golf with yesterday. Just passing on what I've been told!

They're transparent. Quinns a snake!

He mightn't be 'that tall' but there isn't a bigger Fu*ckin c**t alive

Lanky streak of piss!
