Much as I dislike him RVN would be a very wise buy ... and a nice reposte to United getting Owen. Dunno what he'd cost but you are guaranteed if he's fit he'll score plenty. Why all the doom and gloom about transfer funds in here? There's no real evidence that Rafa hasn't got 20 odd million in his back pocket and a quality attacking player in mind.

Off topic a bit here but am I the only person who thinks that the deal to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barca was the worst in the history of football? 46m Euros plus Etoo plus Hleb! He has a 250m Euro relaease fee FFS Am I missing something here? Apart from being grossly over hyped he wont work in Barcas system. He could be an Integra-l part of the squad bit I'm not convinced he's Rafas Type-R The Legacy Alonso left behind will be hard to compete with but I've heard he's a V-Technical player
