Maybe this isn't the right thread to post this in, but it's the busiest. A 14 year old Irish lad called Graham O'Connell who was due to travel to Anfield for the Arsenal game this weekend collapsed and died on Monday playing football with his mates. His friends have started a twitter campaign to try get his name put up on the scoreboard during the Hearts game tomorrow. Nobody seems to be suggesting selling Downing. To me, with the emergence of Sterling I'd let him go for £10m and try offload Spearing, Adam and Cole. I'm 50/50 on Carroll .... He's a very good option to spring from the bench late on when chasing a game because of the different problems he'll cause defences. But if we assume his value to be 15m then perhaps it would be better used to secure a first choice 20+ goals a season player.

If we shifted Carroll, Adam and Spearing we'd surely recoup somewhere between 20 and 22 million .... If that money was available to buy one top rate goalscorer, who's available at that price? Huntelaar from what I was told is one .... Who else?
