Lol ... that's conjuring up an image that's interfering with my enjoyment of breakfast! Ah it's f***in huge, no question about it. A hell of a lot of emotion surrounding the day too, but to me anyway it just feels a little bit predestined that we're going to do it today. Awake since 2am ... But still buzzing for today ... can't remember ever being so excited for a game. I never fell out of love with Liverpool, but I definitely fell out of love with football for a while ... but days like today remind me of the pure excitement I got from footie when I was a kid ... magical!

Jumping the gun a little here but if we win tomorrow ... get ready for similar levels of excitement and nervous tension in the lead up to the Chelsea game ... that'll be as important if not moreso as tomorrow ... a draw tthere would allow City be Champions if they win all their other games. Anyway, one game at a time, JFW and all that. Credit to Pelligrini and City by the way ... no mind game s**** this week ... Mourinho'll be laying it on thick left right and centre ...

Sorry to hear your bad news mate. My wifes father passed away 2 weeks ago and it's a tough time. Our boys put a Liverpool teddy bear into his coffin so like your wifes grandmother he'll be cheering us on on Sunday.

Watching the press conference earlier its just so exciting to watch someone grow into the job before your eyes as Rodgers is doing. He handled it magnificently, set the right tone, kept on message and didn't give them anything that would allow the press to set the agenda. He speaks beautifully about the 96 and their families too and bloody hell I really would love to see the guy do it this year. Very proud to have him as our manager

Wonder will we go back in for Konoplyanka again this summer ... Difficult to see where we'd massively improve on our first choice eleven, but for me he'd be a nice addition at full back. A quality older reserve goalie is a must. Sakho and Skrtel as first choice centre halves next season, and I think I'd move Kolo on and get a similar old head to replace him. I think we need a more aggressive athletic Mascherano type of midfielder in place of either Allen or Lucas. A back up centre forward that's good enough to step in for either of the SAS where neccessary and then just squad fillers for the cup competitions. Very hard to know what way FSG will approach the summer window ... will they give Brendan a warchest or go the moneyball route again? Is it Sunday yet?

Good point well made! They really are! Imagine Luis' goal tally now if he hadn't been banned AND took all our penos like most star forwards do for their clubs .... he'd be well past 40 surely ... not to mention all the woodwork he's clipped .... astonishing season from him

Gonna be a right pain the a*** logistically for a lot of people traveling to the game if it is shifted to suit Chelsea ... although I'd really love to see it played under lights with the probable amped up atmosphere this would bring ... be like 2005 all over again! Have a feeling Sundays crowd noise might get close to that if we come out of the blocks quick What time is the draw at RP?

Would work great for me ... I'll be in the airport heading on a family holiday with our two 3 year olds at kick off time, and I've feck all chance of seeing it properly. I'm selfishly delighted at the prospect of it being shifted. An evening kick off, though unlikely would be a bonus too. Raise the atmosphere by an extra 20%. The thought of it reminds me how much I miss proper European nights at Anfield, can't wait to have that back

I tend to agree with you ... and it'll be very interesting to see whatever Brendan might do next season if the owners really push the boat out in the summer transfer window. Regardless, he's been an inspired appointment. Hats off to FSG

Be such an incredible achievement to win it this year, and totally deserved ... thats the nice part ... we'll have won it in spectacular fashion playing bold attractive football And something that I haven't heard mentioned regarding BR .... no 'mind games', no Mourinho style antics, no slating referees ... just very dignified and humble all the way through. The Liverpool Way.

The fact that he wasn't able to land several of his targets in recent windows and yet still has us where we are is a remarkable achievement. I hope the owners really back him in the transfer market this summer, and get him who he wants. Lets face it, everyone else is going to strengthen, and we've a thin enough squad.
