Aquilaini obviously has quality but lets be honest lads, in his short time with us he was less than impressive. So it's ok to sit back against opposition if they're a good side? We were good enough to beat them 2-1 away and batter them first half so why sit back second half? The approach is wrong, it was then and it is now.

I'm not so sure about this tbh. I remember we played Barca in 2007. Beat them 2-1 away, got them back to Anfield and battered them first half, should have been 3 up but we couldn't score. Second half we played very similar to today, sat back and invited pressure. They inevitably scored and Ronaldinho hit the post late on which would have knocked us out. Of course anyone who dared suggest we sat back too much at the time was told we were talking s***.
