sadly this is correct. as much as we all love rafa and respect all hes achieved here. its becoming more and more apparent, albeit, very very early in the season, that the same old problem are still there. we did need robbie keane, and i think hes a great signing. but we still persist with playing players out wide who are not natural wide players. Kuyt is absolute shoite wherever he plays ( might be a decent full back), Babel clearly excels down the middle and is pants out wide. benayoun is also a squad player who is better through the middle and certainly not on the left. I just feel as if Rafa has failed to address the problems we've all been screaming about for years. I understand its early days in the season and its a knee jerk to tonights embarassment. but theres been nothing encouraging from our performances (as opposed from our results), to suggest hes addressing the problems

id be shocked if he was back for the manc game. very disappointed with that. we'll be lucky to beat them without him

is it true rafa didnt shake hands at the end? poor show if it is. i knw their manager was acting the c**k during the game but still, those lads put up a great show over the 2 games. the least they deserved was a handshake

he was. hes had a ver poor start to the season. looks way off the pace. poor touch and decisions. thankfully in hs case, form is temporary and class is permanent. he'll be right in a week or 2

I stand by what i said, Kuyt is absolutely dreadful. he was appalling tonight, gave the ball away, killed any momentum by labouring on the ball and turning back into congestion. he took his goal well, but so did micky quinn all those years back.

Kuyt must have something major on Rafa. why else would he continue to indulge his utter mediocrity? i thought keane was better than torres tonight

not if gerrard, torres, keane, babel and kuyt decide to show up

why are we incapable of playing a short game? every time we try and play the killer ball. we have little or no movement, all very static and trying to play balls in behind defences. it snot just tonight, its all the time.

Kuyt is just dreadful. he contributes nothing going forward. rafa please get rid, hes a very expensive mistake

i do, cause ive tried to get to domestic aways before and they are always sold out to season ticket holders. ive been to euro aways obviouly but through 3rd parties and its cost me a months wages. anyway, hopefully all will be well in the end. im grateful for my PTS, it s a godsend at times

don't get me wrong, if i get a season ticket for the new stadium i will take it, and i'll be over the fooking moon. thats my problem, without a season ticket im stuck with the PTS and the atmosphere is generally dreadful at league games although it has improved over the years.I remember one seaosn under houllier where the atmosphere was library-esque, the only noise you could here were murmers of discontent. with the season ticket i can finally start going to away games both domestic and european and get to go to cup games etc... please god i get offered one for the new stadium but im not as optimistic as you are about my chances and I'm still feCk8n angry about what has happened

well its not, its totally relevant in fact. firstly there was no new stadium at the time i joined the waiting list, so its an administrative c**k of personally huge consequences potentially. as it happens a new stadium is hypothetically a few years away. but I am now at the back of a queue which, in the time between when I joined the waiting list and now, has multiplied hugely, particularly where fans were aware of the new stadium actually becoming a reality. so im no longer in a position whereby i would have more than likely got a ticket for the new stadium to one where I definitely will not. so its hugely relevant in my opinion

I joined the waiting list for a season ticket about 4/5 years ago, the same time i joined the PTS I saw an article quoting Ian Ayre stating that they would be writing to all on the list to confirm if they still wished to continue with their season ticket application. So on that basis i rang the club to check whereabouts i was on the list. the girl on the phone couldnt find me but suggested i write in. I did write in setting out the circumstances and time when i joined. I got a letter back from the ticket office (lauren ball?) stating my details were not on the waiting list and my name was never entered. I wrote back to day stating that I was told my name was on the list years ago and it wasnt my fault it has dropped off it. however ot now seems as though im at the back of the queue and probably wont get a chane to buy a ticket for about 15 years now. absolutely gutted and angry would be the underestimation of the decade..
