a very bold statement by hicks. rafa will not take that lightly at all. i gave little dredence to the press conference but this statement by hicks will totally inflame the situation. whoever is at fault here, and i guess its all parties. this will not have a good effect on the team in the very crucial xmas period coming up. and thats all i care about at the moment.

i agree that agger is a huge loss for us, but why the hell did rafs waste so much time on heinze and leave us exposed if agger or carra get injured? those questions have to be asked

as much as im disgusted with our performances this season, our complete lack movement and the fact that arsenal who finished behind us last season are playing football that is leagues ahead of us. as much as rafa's rotation is now proving to be rubbish its just far too early to be thinking about sacking him were 6 points off the top only still (god knows how), if we play like this for the rest of the season and dont make any strides towards getting closer to challenging then yes i can accept his departure but not now, him leaving now will do us no good in the middle fo the season

this is another game where we we have failed to score from open play. we have relied far too much on set pieces all season. gerrards goal v villa, kuyts 2 penalties v everton etc.. this run has gone on far too long for it to be a 'blip'. we have been consistently terrible for a while now. we were lucky not to be 2 down at have time today, and we were lucky not to get stuffed by arsenal last week and very lucky to get 3 points against everton its embarrassing to say this, but this season we have really rode our luck, and we are 7th!

if they are really rafa's tactics then i want him out.i dont ever want a manager who wants to gamble like that and not try and win for 70 mins and then have a go at the end of a game. however, i dont think they were his tactics

whatever the outcome of this game, i have to say that its a long long long time since i remember watching us play and feeling thoroughly satisfied by the perfomance. something is rotten in this team. i dont care what anyone says. there is such a lack of quality in our play, basic passing errors, complete lack of innovation in our play, no movement, no widht, no support for the man on the ball. we are industrious thats about it, but its fooking desperate to watch

i have a newly mde candy strip which addidas have released. wore it to the arsenal game and got asked by loads where i got it

well that says it all really ridiculous this has all happened since the yanks took over by the way. odd

once the new 'receipt'/ ticket is sent to you in the post you can give that to your mate with your fan card and they should be able to stroll in with both of them. but if tickets need to be picked up from the ticket office when there are issues with post, thats where the problems arise. as said in an above post, the ticket office are devoid of any discretion or understanding in these matters.

funny you should say that, there were 4 norwegian guys picking up tickets from the pts window before the game and they werent getting their tickets as the pts fancards they had werent theres. i heard them explaining to the girl in the office that the booked it through a travel agent and this is how they've always done it and its never been a problem before. so it seems that some travel agents are in possession of some pts tickets and arr ripping off fans. before i was on the pts i had to go thru a travel agent and it was extortionate. i really felt for the norwegian lads as they had travelled all the way over and were falling victim to this new security level.

well the PTS is shut down now, so they arent taking any newcomers. i reckon if id otn use my pts, the tickets are given to bloody travel agents for all i know, given the amount of day trippers i see at games i dunno, i have a good few mates whi use my pts and im happy for them to use it, and im worried now that if they use it and are 'rumbled' (as if they are doing anything wrong), then i'll have my pts taken off me and i still dont get why it was changed, it worked perfectly well until this season

yesterdays game was the first game ive managed to get to this season. due to the postal strike, no tickets were sent to dublin so we had to pick them up at the ticket window, which was fine. it said to bring some id, which is fine. when i got to the ticket office, they wouldnt give me the ticket because they wanted proof of my address. none of the ID cards i was carrying had my address on it. it took me 20 mins of debating to finally get the ticket. secondly, as a PTS member, we now dont get tickets for games, just a bloody recipt on a piece of paper. i have spent years collecting my ticket stubs so i can look back and remember the games i;ve been to. now all we get is an A4 piece of paper which we have to show at the turnstile and swipe our PTS at a machine. another gripe i have is that, when i dont go to games i let friends or other fans ive met, use my pts in order to ensure other genuine fans get to games also. now this is not really possible with all the fookin security. what i'd like to know if anyone can enlighten me, why all the bloody security over it? and what was wrong the way the PTS worked before? i thought it worked very well. and why cant we be given proper tickets like every other fan entering the ground?

yeah i saw that, i rang up instead and got 3 kop tickets they obviously reserve allocations for online sales and phone sales for the PTS which makes no sense. i think its better to phone up, cause when ive bought online before ive never got kop tickets but have always got tickets in the kop over the phone

logged on to the pts online and it shows no tickets for sale. what the fOOk is the point of having the online sales if you cant buy online
