Apparently these consider this the biggest game in their history, along with 81. They're going to kick the f*** of us. Their fans had a poll after their semi final asking did they want Monterrey or us and nearly everyone picked us.

I only brought up the hypothetical of selling Firmino to get Sancho as a few people think we can't or won't buy Sancho for over 120m without selling someone.

Firmino is the oldest of the 3 and Mane is 27 too. I'd ideally came them all til they're finished but can't see us doing that. Our starting 11 is getting on looking at it. Wijnaldum and Henderson are 29 now.

Firmino is the only one of the front 3 I'd consider selling to get him. Not sure we'd get massive money for Firmino, though. Origi, Wilson and Shaqiri should get close to 100m. Be gutted to see Origi go but he'll never be a regular starter. Wilson will be about 25-30m, Shaqiri 30m and Origi should be 40m in this market.

I think we'd only sign Sancho if we sold one, but I think we could afford to buy Sancho without selling anyone but would choose not to.

The Coutinho money? If that's already spent then we should have plenty of our own generated funds from CL, league finishes and TV money.

Don't other countries/continents have their league seasons disrupted by a summer world cup?

Sancho is probably already better, and younger, and more proven at a higher level. We want to stay the best so sometimes that means buying the best young players.

It looks like he changes his mind mid strike and goes low to Firmino after spotting him. Or else it was really well disguised he was going there.

I watched a couple of the big events in that and looked about 10% full. Absolutely grim that it seems like whoever pays the most gets to host stuff. Although I think FA have gave a massive bribe to get so many European finals at Wembley already. I think Wijnaldum would start CB over Henderson if he's fit.

It didn't look sold out last night. Mad Qatar are getting all these international sporting events and most people there don't care about them. The bribes must be massive.

Our 3 outside Van Dijk are injured regularly. I think we hoped only one would be injured at any one time.

Koulibaly is a left sided centre back. Van Dijk plays there. We need a centre back who doesn't get injured as much as our 3 back ups but they're all good and we'll have to pay decent money to get better than any of them

I reckon they were both top class players in big leagues before we got them. Minamino will probably take a bit longer but he looks like he's got better every year so nothing to suggest he won't continue.

Couldn't see him getting more assists or creating more chances in midfield so I'd keep him right back. He's more influential from there than any midfielder in the league bar De Bruyne

Klopp will improve him and he looks good already.
