Everyone reckons the press hate them. The press mostly just look for a story and the greatest club ever ever ever finishing bottom in the first round of champion's league qualifying is just that story. Plus i wouldn't be surprised if ferguson had pissed off enough journos during his time
Them signing Keane reminds me of us signing Ince and believing that one player was going to turn around the whole shytehouse culture of a club because they tackled and shouted a bit.
It's just that from the looks of that formation any modern coach could have come up with something to get round it but like you said it's probably not as simple as it looks
Robben's only played well about twice this season but i think he's too good not to come again. He's what 20-1? It's the way they both beat players and are possibly better coming off their weaker foot that does it for me.
Beckham wasn't playing all that well for a bout a year and a half before he left. I think ferguson wanted to play that 4231 formation and beckham didn't fit. he thought he was getting Ronaldinho and kewell i suppose. As well as that he wasn't accountingfor solksjaer's injury as he was filling the RM role well
In that treble season he was a one man defence. Didn't he get done for drugs almost as soon as he left the mancs. methinks ferguson's sharper than we'llgive him credit for
If everton were as talented as they worked hard they would be awesome. If they had any quality whatsoever they would have won that easily. TBF Arteta, Cahill and VDM (even though i think he's schit) were missing.
