Lambert and Remy for Borini would be blinding.
-
Correct, we were mid table s*** like them for a few years but Rodgers has changed that thankfully.
-
Yep, him taking us from a mid table team to CL regulars would be w***.

We just sold someone for 75m, Assaidi is going, we'll get more money for others like Borini. We can do both. Signing Origi wont be the reason we dont end up signing Messi, Reus and Hummels.

Classic Skrtel.

:lol:/> What a feat.

It was Suso, though Saunders was determined to blame Stewart for what was a good header to a teammate.

Roy F***ing Hodgson - 'Football' Mamanger
Rodgers replied to Flasher's topic in General Football Discussion
He actually seems to have come out of this tournament with more credit in the bank for "picking the kids", like that unknown nobody Raheem Sterling who hasn't been one of the best players in the league in 2014 or anything. But despite all these "kids" we cant have been far off the oldest 11 at the tournament. -
Chelsea were set to dominate football forever when they signed Ballack and Shevchenko too. I'm not really arsed who anyone signs, you've got to accept big/rich clubs will sign good players at some point and it doesn't stop us clocking up an awesome points total regardless.

How do you know we aren't? Was only the other day Carra said we went for Robben. Wasn't in the media at the time.

World Cup Final, Germany vs Argentina

Yep, they get away with ridiculous amounts, goalies tend to be bigger than most/all players on the pitch and are allowed to come out studs or knee first as if its normal, meanwhile if an outfield player touches their shirt its a free kick! -
"Will be missed. Thanks for everything and be very happy. It's going to be the best in the world, in 2 years leaves for Barcelona. Is a genius." "It now goes to a fantastic club with a very own mystique." "Sturridge, Sterling and Markovic ... all slow guys" "It's a pity you don't stay another year at Benfica. And I mean only one more season because, realistically, he's already got more than value to play at the highest level in the Premier League." "Good luck Markovic, thank you for this wonderful year. Will be world top very soon." "Great player!" "For England ... at least it was for a team that I admire more!!! That still has some purity of real Club ... Despite the fact that today be increasingly difficult. Furthermore, it is a team with youth." "Very, very sorry. Good luck in your career. Doesn't surprise me at all if in the next couple of years is in the running for the Golden Ball." "I wish you all the luck in the world but I'm sure you won't be needing. Has the potential to be one of the best in the world. A pity I can't continue at Benfica and a sadness to leave for so little. Will be sold in the future for values above 50 m, there is no doubt in my mind" "Being here was my favorite and gave everything, but do not hide the hurt to see him leave. Anyway, a hug and good luck." "It's going to be a serious case in the land of the Beatles, I have no doubt." "A machine on and off the field" "Thanks for all you seem great Markovic, inside and outside the field. With this approach you will very far" "In the Pool the BR put the advanced and he soon explodes."

Same here, Ilori looked f***ing amazing in a couple of Granada games I saw, which was surprising as his career has barely started so you dont really expect faultless performances from a 21 year old centre half but he looked completely at ease and classy on the ball aswell. Like Coates too but think he'll have to rebound somewhere else and we'll probably see him bossing it for a good Serie A side in a few years.
-
Who's said they are amazing? And they were both injured quite a bit so hardly a great compliment that.
-
Toure for 2 of them. Well he looked a complete liability at Hull where he was s*** on all 3 goals, Newcastle away, gives away a stupid free kick, defends the free kick even more stupidly and they score, Chelsea where he decided it'd be a laugh to not bothering to mark Eto'o, City where he...well I'm not even sure what he was trying to do on Kompany's goal, shambolic on the 2nd too, Stoke just backed off Charlie Adam then a half hearted close down when Adam is about to boot the ball in to our goal, Arsenal in the Cup, goes for the ball, completely misses it, they score, Fulham away, comical from Kolo but the ball straight in behind the clueless Skrtel started it all, 2nd goal is going to be dealt with by Flanno but noo he has to come over, try some stupid clearance, drops straight to their man who taps in. And theres plenty more that were his fault and plenty more than we were lucky we didnt concede from like when Lallana hit the post. The fella is complete s***.
-
Dont think he has a blind spot for him, he dropped him in his first season (and our defensive record improved, shock horror), think he's probably just got lucky that Rodgers doesnt want to play two injury prone lefties together.
-
Daniel Agger, the fella who when he come in to the team our goals conceded lessened and clean sheets dramatically improved. Agger started 16 league games, we kept 8 clean sheets. Agger didnt start 22 league games, we kept 2 clean sheets.
-
Get a better centre back than Martin Skrtel.
-
Definitely not, only gave the ball away 5 times in the whole game and had one of the highest pass completion percentages on the pitch. He did one bad pass in the second half which set up a Germany attack so I guess you've based it all on that.
-
Which is weird as he was excellent there and Germany created nothing bar a Hummels set piece which was all Varane's fault.
-
I know you hate Sakho but he isnt going anywhere.

Feel sorry for Messi in that he'll get all the flak when Higuain was dismal, Aguero cant seem to play football unless he's 100% fit and he's got crap like Biglia behind him. Still, he fluffed his big chance when it mattered. -
Has looked good at left back, though was looking at opinions from Sporting fans about him the other month and they were all saying he was the best centre back in the league along with Garay.
