Agger is class, of the last 46 league games he's started for us we've kept clean sheets in 23 of them. Not bad at all! Him and Toure looked class for a couple of games, him and Carra bossed it in the second half of Rodgers first season. The problem is a certain other centre back.

Nah, of course we'll never have a Chelsea type defensive record as we dont sit in our own half the whole game but Martin Skrtel not marking Vincent Kompany at a corner isn't the result of being too open, Martin Skrtel looking at Wayne Rooney then doing nothing about it isn't the system, Martin Skrtel being next to Samuel Eto'o then doing nothing as a cross comes in isn't the system, Martin Skrtel coming in to Flanagan's area and laying the ball to Kieron Richardson isn't the system. We have looked solid under Rodgers one time, when he got dropped and Carra come in and we then suddenly had 7 clean sheets in 14 games and conceded only 12 goals (and 2 clean sheets in 2 with Agger and Toure at the start of last season). Bottom line, we dont really keep clean sheets when he plays and since Rodgers has got here our goals conceded per game is horrific with him and excellent without him. Hopefully Lovren is the end of him.

Was utterly comfortable there then Martin Skrtel happened, happens a lot that, the worst bit was he actually looked to see where Rooney was but still did nothing about it!
