I wholesomely agree with this statement, and my own angle on this situation is that Mr Power should be reprimanded for his use of insulting language, rather than an attempt to operate in the frame of "one up" manship. I must add, however, that this is a man who has used a public situation of racism to as a tool of promotion, evidenced by the lack of media coverage before, and the recognition of his name after, the event. There is nothing more deplorable than using a situation to your own advantage, particularly when it is applied to topic such as racism. I would not be opposed to him receiving suitable comeuppance given his earlier preachings on the matter. I would however urge caution in this situation. Mindfulness should be considerable this scenario as we, as an entity, possess potential for bias towards this man. This is not to pardon his ignorance in using such a term - in his position especially, it was an idiotic choice of word - but one must be wary of calling for a man to be hung drawn and quartered over an issue.
