he has had one and a half seasons. I like Morientes, hes obviously classy and shows some nice touches but when i watch him he still wants too much time on the ball and he moves like a cart horse. hes had 18 months now and hasnt really fully adapted in my opinion. sad but true, if Rafa had to choose between Morientes and Fowler what would you say?

they have an excellent goalie, a dodgy defence, some good midfielders and some class forwards. they have some good players but it seems they have to play weird formations because of the need to fit square pegs into eound holes. zidane hasnt actually been involved as much this season anyway. not forgetting the seemingly bottomless supply of money, they are underachieveing alright but not really in turmoil. not saying that Rafa is likely to fancy or not though.
