Young kid under pressure from everyone, including his current club, to sign- it's not unheard of and easily empathised with. Hopefully he'll learn from the mistake and others will take stock at the same time. The way Chelsea are going they'll make themselves pariahs of the game beofre long- at the top or not.

Torres is an over-rated lightweight. Hope Spurs spend their whole budget on the whinging little tosspiece.

still wrong. Unless he hates a certain buxom warrior (not Sutty) woman.

Sweet jebus that's fast.

Under pressure, wrong foot, 60 yards out, defender in the way. Goal of the season so far.

When he cut the cord anchoring the lawn chair to his jeep, he didn't float lazily up to 30 or so feet. Instead he streaked into the LA sky as if shot from a cannon. hehe. twotter. Posts merged: bullocks- wrong forum- sorry.

Cech's performance against Norway in the playoff 2nd leg is the reason the Czechs are going to the WC. He made some brilliant technical saves that night. Whether he is better than Buffon, Casillas (also young), Kahn or Reina is open to debate. I think Dida is totally overhyped.

I think you're all having a go at Poll on past performances. Kewell and Crouch's bookings aside he did nowt wrong. Arteta's last was not a booking but his reaction and previous petulance during the match sealed his fate.

In truth they gave our much vaunted defence a lot more trouble than many of the other supposedly superior teams we have played this season. That isn't saying much admittedly but they weren't as god awful as is being made out. They certainly had more bottle than the barcodes.

Put Riena or any other top class goalie under that sort of pressure and they'll perform miracles too (like Pepe did at Villareal). Given makes fantastic saves that make the papers because he has to face so many attacks. He does concede but no one in their right mind would blame him- ergo he ends up looking better than he is and his defieiencies are covered up such as the ones Jimmy Libel mentioned or that his kicking under pressure is the worst I've ever seen in a goalie- and that includes Frode Grodas.

Being contrary for the sake of it does not mean it's a valid opinion. Posting w@nk to generate responses is tedious and ultimately on previous record, a pointless wind up.

c) tedious WUM.

They get more than we do here sometimes- particualarly in terms of highlights shows. Only b*tch is you have to watch Fox.

Thought 'Bramble for England' was harsher meself.

it's the new 'obviously'
