  1. I know what you mean but we were s****. Flecher, O shea, Gigs and Richardson. FFS!! We got what we deserved.
  2. Momo got booked for clashing heads. Cisse made Brown look amazing today. He's a f***ing joke. Dickov would have made himself more of a problem than that lump today. Please just get rid and lets all stop pretending he's of the level we need. He's the equivilant of Diao up front. A massive heartless turkey than spends more time on his bloody hair than anything else. Kewell is half his size and wins more headers and challenges than Cisse ever will. I'll be shocked if he starts again for us.
  3. Lets cut to the chase. Heskey and Cisse are both bloody s**** when we're talking about proper quality. Cisse made Wes Brown look like Maldini in his prime today. He challenges nothing and wins less. He reacts rather than anticipates. An when he does he picks the wrong option. We are a great team bar the lack of quality up front. Keep Moro and Crouch and Pongo as back up and buy 1 proper forward. Cisse today just made me realise I was right all along. He's a bloody show pony of the highest order and I'd be more than happy if he didn't play for us again. He's f***ing passionless, lacks balls and can sling his hook as far as I'm concerned. Sorry to be so pissed off but it's not kneejerk. Carnage....Cabbage more like.
  4. That was the worst manu midfield we are ever going to play or have played in 15 years. O Shea didn't even know where he was meant to be for most of the first half. Injury my a*** he stank the place off and had to come off. As for Cisse. Goodbye and close the door on the way out if you can be arsed.
  5. Feeling very nervous myself to be honest. You just never know in these games. We haven't been in better shape for a long time when facingManU but anything can happen. I keep thinking we're going to win 3 nil but my head says no way. Just hope we keep really tight on the Horse and Shrek...oh and a good two footer on Neville by Gerrard where the ref waves play on. If Riely gives them a peno again I think i'll explode.
  6. Wow!!! 8 pages on a player NEVER destined for anfield. NO WAY ON EARTH will he become a Liverpool player. We've got much more urgent needs at the moment. He'll go to Arsenal as they need new stars for a new stadium end of.
  7. Stupid question. What was Gerrards injury again? Was it a broken bone in his foot? Totally drawn a blank.
  8. No way do Newcastle have injuries like we had. No idea of times and date but off the top of my head Dudek and Kirkland at the same time as well I believe meaning Carson had to step in against Juve. Finnan was out. Josimi split his head open. Hyypia missed a few games. Alonso broke his ankle. Hamann was out too. Garcia with a long hamstring. Kewell.(most of the season) Cisse with a broken leg. Gerrard missed games too. Baros with his hamstring after playing for the czechs. Pongo's knee injury. Morienties CL cup tied and injured. I'm sure I've missed a few but I think only Risse played nearly all our games without injury. P.S. Mellor's knee op!!
  9. Course number three, ink-stuffed squid, came out of the kitchen glistening and jet black. The squid collapsed on the fork into a sauce that was rich with caramelised onions. I've eaten that once and it's bloody rank. Tasted like elastic bands squirted with a bic pen. Nice gesture all the same.
  10. How is he struggling in London? His Dad lives there. Man up shorty. He was and is distraught....I dont know what pressure was put on him, but Ste is one of his best mates and SWP regrets that move every day he wakes up For Christs sakes he's not in a freezing Siberian work camp wearing nothing but a loin cloth and bits of tyres for shoes. What you are saying is that he's been sold as a slave with zero control over his life which I find totally rubbish. He could go into training this morning with his agent/helper whatever and tell them that he wants to go now as he'll never play for the team again. Granted he might get thrown into the reserves and he might miss the world cup but that's his choice. Either stick it out for 6 months play in the world cup and then demand a transfer or else take the plunge now and risk the world cup.
  11. Ah the mockers!! There is no way on earth they can hang on against such a wonderful team of well balanced lovely individuals. Hopefully that'll work
  12. Terrible music. He's not dead you know. Cheese factor 10. All it lacks is a few slow mos of Robbie running through a field of poppies with a rose between his teeth with soft focus lens flare. Man up lads.
  13. No way. It would upset what Raffa;s doing. We'd have fans screaming for him to come on after Crouch misses his first chance. Plus we'd have "God should have started today" threads on here every bloody game.
  14. Sunderland should phone up sick and lose 3-0 by default. There is no way on earth they can get anything from this in any at all. Right that's my best attempt at the mockers. If this doesn't work nothing will
  15. Cheers. I thought he was still in the Dutch squad.
  16. s****! If true it's more serious than we all thought. We'll really miss his important goals over the next month or so. Lets hope for a quick uncomplicated recovery. So that's Zenden and now Luis out with no option on playing Gonzalaz. Perhaps a wide player will be made a serious priority now. BTW does Zendens injury mean he'll miss the world cup? Gutted for him if so. Agreed. We'll really miss him but hopefully we've learnt a lesson from Kewell regarding playing on injections. The pain is there for a reason. Sounds like he's in massive pain. Could be out for a while.
  17. It's interesting that he stuck with 4-5-1 (4-2-3-1 whatever) for so long at the beginning of the season though when it was clear to everyone and their dog that a 4-4-2 with Gerrard out wide was the strongest line up we had. I wonder when he looks at potential players for us is he thinking about our current formation or would he be buying players to fit his 4-5-1
  18. Was it simply because we were not getting the results early on in the season? Personally I thought we were going to stick with that formation no matter what which worried me a little as I couldn't see where the goals were going to come from. Rafa seems to have made a concerted effort to change his ways somewhat. We are still really hard working and defend and attact as a unit really well like Valencia did but he's thrown caution to the wind slightly by going for two up front for a long time now. Do you reckon he realised he didn't have the players to play 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 was the way to get results in the prem.
  19. So many of their fans seem to want to be entertained rather than win. The amount of complaining over our time wasting at the end. If I was a spurs fan I'd want Spurs to do exactly the same as they might actually win something. Strange indeed.
  20. Liverpool support was shocking, worst home support I have ever seen AND i have been to Fulham before ! Now that is bad. Fulham is dreadful.
  21. Looking at our defensive record this season and the amount Riise can get forward then I can't see where the problem lies. Granted his distribution isn't brilliant all the time but that wouldn't be a major worry for me compared to other areas. Is the answer. Most players are right footed.
  22. For me it's Sissoko. Whe I heard he was signing I thought "Errr ok, another midfielder, seems a bit odd. Do we need another one? That's alot of money to pay for a Biscan/Diao replacement. Why not just keep one of them and chase the players we need!" Considering we had little to spend and had a host of midfield talent I couldn't understand why we picked him up at all. I thought we should be saving our money for the critical positions that needed urgent attention. I really thought this was a mistake considering we needed to really fatten out the squad. 10 minutes into his first start I thought he was/is the next Viera. As it stands I think he's become a vital player for us in a very short time. He offers almost what Hamann offers yet with more aggression and speed. He covers more ground than any player I can remember and when on song his passing is excellent. (I know some reckon his passing was poor today but for the most part I don't agree. He was in the thick of it when Gerrard and Alonso had unusually quiet games and was breaking up everything) I didn't think that many players had a better engine than Gerrard but this guy is unnatural. Right now I really think most teams s*** themselves just before kick off seeing Gladitorial figure of Sissoko, the intelligence of Alonso and our captain all in midfield. Over to you....
  23. TOP MAN.Works perfect!!
