That was his best game for us last night. Aggressive in defence and effective in attack. This was the lad I thought we were buying in the summer.

Had the pleasure of watching that goal unfold in full from the upper tier of the main stand. When it started off on the right hand side I muttered under my breath “WTF are we going backwards here for…” Gakpo’s role in the goal not to be underestimated either. He actually quietly had a pretty decent game -
