  4. Every last syllable micro-analysed. Can't wait until we're just looking at lads booting footballs at the goals again.
  5. Just a 'decent pass', isn't it? FFS we've jumped a shark on stats and such.

  11. Genuinely, this bloke has hit the target a bit before, there might be some legs in this.
  12. This is what I mean, he can't be much more involved in the game as he's asked to do a specific role, sometimes just plugging holes and filling spaces in. He can't, like he did in his previous club, chase the ball around looking to get on it or on the end of it.
  13. Them that don't rate him, I really don't think they watch football outside of the highlights. He's a huge part of the good in us. Technically better than what he shows consistently, but being asked to do a specific, yet unspectacular role. I like.

  16. 3rd highest in the league for points dropped from winning positions. We really should be right in it, despite a sensational season from Chelsea.
  17. Yeah, can't disagree we've missed all on that list to one degree or another. Henderson's loss lessened by Can's recent form but the other 3 are big players. Threadbare squad once injuries hit us and our uncanny consistency at conceding the same type of goal for ever. Top 4 is a huge season when you take it all into account, but can't help thinking 'if only'.
  18. Made up we're third like, but bothered by our general play in comparison to what we were productng and the biggest shift in productivity is at the full back positions.

  20. Deeply worriesome display by the full backs. Again. Going in both directions. Cannot defend or contribute to our possession. I'd replace both in a heartbeat. Matip way above par last night and Lovren scraped an up and down par. If Watford had been at all interested that display would have been much like anything we produced in January resulting in points dropped. As it was, we win and we'll probably scrape into top 4. Biggest challenge of the manager's career building this into a squad that can competeon 2 fronts. Heaps of deadwood.

  22. I think Sturridge has got a few demons in his personality that are limiting his potential. Gone from being one of the stellar buys in recent times to one few can be bothered about losing. Such a pity, and I'll reserve my abuse as I think he's not fit mentally, as opposed to anything else.

  24. Full back with our system is absolutely pivotal. We need to get players who can make a difference with the ball, as they will get a lot of it. He's garbage, lads. He's not hitting the functional tag at all.
  25. Gets away with all sorts, this lad. Poor going forward, but he used to be able to do a job defensively, now that's gone. Wooden and robotic in possession and unless there's a very simple pass on he will ghive it away or run it over the end line. He's nowhere near good enough.
