  1. I find it very hard on social to know who the blaggers are and who the people are that "know". I only know you from here - I doubt the clubs have any intelligence from the volumes of social media posts to know which person/handle knows what. Put it this way, good luck if there is someone at LFC that can find the Spurs team from social media and confidently tell Jurgen to base his game plan around it because its absolutely right. For this game, Jose knows 10 of the 11 for sure and just waiting for Matip to be confirmed. Klopp did as much by not ruling him out and saying how hard we are working on him.
  2. Fulham were very snappy about the pitch - on reflection, Parker had them for a week and we were back from an away European game. Fair play to them - they took a chance and spent alot of energy attacking and getting stuck into tackles. It could have back-fired on them had we been on it and matched them. For this game, Jose absolutely has a default gameplan but will he be braver and maybe not let Liverpool be the dominant team ? You wonder if their players want to be let get after us a bit more with a little less discipline. Its a massive chance for them to go clear at the top, get a massive away win, end our long unbeaten home run. The kind of result Jose would milk to death to instill confidence they can win the league. For all those reasons above and given we are the team at home and just got away with one. I dont see us doing that badly again. I think we'll play well and we'll have more of the ball than Spurs. On that basis I am going for us to bounce back and win knowing how good we have played against other decent teams.
  3. I really hope Fulham are shot, or close to being shot as they dipped at the end of that half. When I say "shot", I mean they are not charging about the pitch closing our men down and then belting forward when there is a break.
  4. If it was meant to be, then Fulham would have scored from the corner. So because they didnt, it clearly wasnt a penalty.
  5. Whats the bench looking like, I am starting to lose track of who is out and who might be back. Kelleher, N. Williams, R. Williams, Tsimikas (?), Keita, Minamino, Origi
  6. The team that's 7pts behind us to win rather than the team that's 2pts behind us.
  7. Yeah, Pep said it before the game.
  8. Always* the team that isn't City and I dont care who that team is *Well, not always but always since the start of 2017/18ish
  9. Sitting on the pot probably Gastroenteritis
  10. I remember tipping Chris Basham to have a shot on target against us at 20/1 based on him getting forward and could get a header - you were amazed that I'd lose a tenner on it. And I did
  11. City, Chelsea, Spurs are all away and priced around 4/6. The treble is 4/1. For any of those that dont mind losing a tenner if one of them drops points but wants to win money if they all win to keep the pressure on us.
  12. Completely forgot this is the last run of games before Christmas. So its Fulham (A) - 3 days - Spurs (H) - 3 days - Palace (A) 8 days break around Christmas WBA (H) - 3 days - Newcastle (A) - 3 days - Southampton (A)
  13. That statement right there is the first time I realised that this is on early ! Thank you, I could genuinely have worked away not paying attention to the internet until about 7-7.30 and missed this. I reserve the right to retract my gratitude depending on how 6-8pm goes now

  15. I’m afraid you’ll need to show your workings with some really bad heatmaps and Microsoft Paint screenshots before you have the burden of that title
  16. Would be lovely if they could lose this, lose in Germany and get knocked out of the CL and then save Ole's job for a little longer with a win against City next week.

  18. Yeah, irrespective of what our result would have been yesterday, the outcome I want least is a Spurs win. A draw would be nice but I'll take a Chelsea win purely because I don't see them having a very settled team, apart from the full backs, Kante and maybe Werner. Whilst its still 3pts, Spurs beating City and Chelsea back-to-back will give them huge belief heading into this difficult fixture run they have. Also, they have only lost 1 game same as us and Chelsea, would prefer if they didn't they didnt enjoy too long of an unbeaten run.
  19. Me too. Not at the pen or the VARs, but the result. It felt like one a big one - ticked loads of boxes for "great 3 points". I still hope things will start to swing our way soon. Spurs could jump ahead of us tomorrow and it would be a big result for their belief, to face all of this and have played away to City, Everton, Chelsea and still be top. I feel Thiago and Trent being back will be big. Ox will be some fresh legs in there though remains to be seen if there is a big impact. Henderson having some consistency back too hopefully in terms of game time.
  20. I want to watch a goal and celebrate it knowing in my head & gut that its a real celebration, a real goal. The decision to review offside is causing a pause/dilution in that. If the solution is only draw lines from the feet or use wider lines - the margins are still going to be incredibly narrow. Having experienced it for a while now, I'd be ok to flipping the rule so that if any part of the attacker is in line with the defender, then its onside. At least that way, when watching live, you'll know alot of the time if its close. No doubt attakers will adjust their positions and there will still be razor thin margins, but at least a bulk of other goals can be celebrated and we'll know on gut instinct that its not offside. For Salah's today, you'd see the very 1st VAR frame and know straight away its a goal. Ignore my long post, what he said !
  21. I think Milner was a big change to right back for the 2nd half ahead of Williams. Confidence in midfield with Henderson and confidence in the full backs helped the team. For that reason, I'd like a player that can give that confidence to the rest of the team - whoever it may be now. It was TAA with Gomez as back up, we've now dropped down to Milner/Williams and looking even further beyond that. I remember Rafa had a mad injury crisis upfront around December of 2004, kinda feels like that at right back.
  22. This year ?
  23. I saw something earlier saying he was back training with the group but wouldnt feature against Brighton. I'm assuming they mean tomorrow's game but it could also be the home fixture next March
  24. That's fantastic, what an experience for those lads and so well deserved. Get the vaccine sorted and get the lads back to meet the players like when David from Asda met Virgil earlier this year (or was it end of last year ??) - just great.
  25. If I'm Gini, I'm pointing at all 3 of them, swinging that finger wildly so they are in no doubt each of them is being addressed, and I'm telling them that they're doing the f*kin' Christmas and New Year shifts this year given the overtime that has been put in already !
