  6. did he feature? me boozer closed at half time so i didnt see the whole game
  7. makes the assumption hes a red. look at the distablising impact a couple of posts have made which will be repeated round the water cooler, bars and otherwise. im not going to call out someone as a liar, but i would remind you that on the internet, the world wide web, that there is the ability more often than not to post the inflammatory without the risk of accountability*. *see also many arent actually "teens"
  8. the guy went down without any contact and immediately looked to the referee for a pen. he halts his left leg mid step to get some leverage off and accelerate himself into the dive and throws both arms into the air. it's really quite commical when you re-watch it. simulation is against the rules and im happy to see an attempt to punish those guilty of it. my concern lies with how consistant uefa are following this kind of thing up. it's a pity they don't also see fit to look into incidents where players (i'm looking at you ronny) kicking out at others and going unpunished. deliberately attempting to injure a player is far worse.
  9. what is the policy on returning tickets? like how many days before the game can you return them and get a refund? this seems like a pretty good idea that could be developed. i say this because its unlikely they'd be able to get rid of them all again if it was done at the last minute and it would also cost them as it would place additional overhead on the club. if this resulted in a large number of empty seats it could work.
  10. as a professional sportsman this is awesome. it provides the player with more experience at a high level dealing with players you are unfamiliar with on a day to day basis. sure theres a risk of injury, but this kind of situation develops players. liverpool fc bias aside this is very very cool and well done stevie.
  11. i disbelieve you ... sorry but what do you have to back this up? at the end of the day this is a public forum and folk are buying your words for no other reason than they are already frustrated. looking back at your previous posts you arent an 'ITK' so this is nothing but rumour or conjecture. the issue is that the purchase of lfc remains one serviced on debt, 350m debt which is 120m more than the value of the club at the point of sale albeit to cover 'operating costs , player purchases and the new ground'. making up s*** helps nobody, in fact if anything it devalues the fans pov as you do nothing but reduce credibility. i hate this situation as much as anyone else but unsubstantiated s**** like this helps nobody.
  12. so g&h took over the club in 2007 and since then during a period were we've had record levels of income the 350m loan has had nothing paid off. i dont understand how this can continue for much longer as theres a huge risk of someone now dropping out of the top four over the next 2-3 years given the level of sustained investment citeh are seeing. simply servicing the debt year on year isn't getting us anywhere - s*** they couldn't even afford that and had to agree to a new refinancing deal with a few million coughed up out of their own pocket. its extremely troubling but ultimately folk still renewed season tickets, still bought new replica kits, still go to games and pay for sky, eseason, etc. its all good and well having these marches and handing out fliers but until theres actual action that significantly impacts the club in some way nothing will happen - look at how far the protests in london have got in recent years. that s*** just doesnt work anymore.
  13. when it happened to roma a few years ago it was cut back to one window http://news.sawf.org/Sports/4591.aspx id expect this to go the same way

    Reserves

they said during the game that ldv while currently training with the reserves is going to play for the u18s because its quite a big up in terms of physicality and that while tonight bolton put out a young squad but that wont also be the case so at least for now they want to protect him a little yet improve the quality of his training environment. pacheco was certainly outstanding once he came on but you have to remember this is his second year at this level, while eccleston and the like have only just come in so the expectation would be for him too look the more developed. there are some exciting young players in this squad so i'm looking forward to seeing more.

im expecting to see eccleston, pecheco and ayala see a good few cup games this year. agree brouwer seems a bit poiint - 21 now, you've got to be thinking his time to step up has passed unless we can get him loaned out somewhere were he will see regular competitive football like nemeth.

this going to be streamed on eseason?
  24. given the scale of investment we've seen it's almost inevitable citeh break into the top four. they've also a stadium with a greater capacity than ours and with the current owner there are finances in place to increase this further which worringly could mean that they could potentially comply with uefa's wishes within three years.
  25. we've also profited at times: it'll be interesting watching real madrids new boys
