De Ligt is fantastic and will be one of the best centre backs in the world for the next decade. He has the same calm and attitude as Van Dijk. We already have the best defence in Europe so it isn't essential but its whether you reject the opportunity to sign a potentially generational player. Barcelona have f***ed themselves by sorting De Jong first.
