    The reported figure is £68m valuation. We've shown that if we think it's the right guy we will go that far but Newcastle and United having been linked means they could be looking for more.

    Think Nunez depends on United. ten Hag apparently very keen (he knocked out Ajax single-handed) and I can't see us getting into a bidding war. That being said, when City were in for van Dijk we didn't get deterred.

    I saw a chunk of the conference, did not take anything negative from it. Klopp definitely wouldn't want to speak for Sadio so just downplayed it. He was asked about it three or four times. I think that response was a direct question from a German journalist asking what would it mean for Bayern to sign a player like Sadio or something similar.

    Matip should start because we want the ball. Him starting means the fulls have to be a bit more aware going backwards though. Konate should start because he's ridiculously fast and can cover space but he has a gaffe in him. Trust the manager.

    Those new Sadio quotes are definitely the case of the club seeing how the interview was being taken and getting him out there to reassure, right? Be mad if he's said that only to leave. EDIT: The special comment makes me hope it's him and Mo.

    Salah has said he's staying. Don't understand why Sadio wouldn't have done the same. Sky Sports Germany have said Bayern for €50m.

    Ish. He has played that role for PSV but I don't know if he would be able do it at our level. He is a bit more forward thinking and has done that with Ivory Coast too. I meant more in line with the outlay, whereas Tchouameni would have cost more and have more potential.

    Place over here says we're monitoring Sangare from PSV. Newcastle, Leicester and Villa also inferested. He has a release clause of €37.5m. I really like him, think he would suit us but he would be a squad option I imagine. Maybe a Chamberlain replacement.
