Maldini Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 From what I remember those lists are in alphabetical order rather than ranking
Nogsy Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Reads like a who's who of Championship Manager.
Earl Hafler Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Anelka as a rising star...a couple of years after joining Real for £24m. Looks like someone picked out a few good players and then threw in about 70 exotic names for good measure.
R A Softlad Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 From what I remember those lists are in alphabetical order rather than ranking One of yours Paul?
Andythered Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Wes Brown. :dynamite: Emmanuelle Zulu: A soft porn movie where trenchent Welsh men are surrounded by temptation but muddle through.
Nerik Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 (edited) Owen a rising star in 00/01 when he went on to win the Golden Ball in 01?Also Anelka was far from rising in 00/01.There are some interesting ones that made it, others who we've never heard of apart from in that list. Edited February 7, 2006 by Nerik
Maldini Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 One of yours Paul?Nah, It's from World Soccer magazine, I reckon they must have used a quota system. I only did one of those lists and was a secondary partner
Kahnee Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Reads like a who's who of Championship Manager. 4. Julius Aghahowa Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukr) Nigeria
Guest JV Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 throw in Owen and Cassano as well to that list. and Kewell did become world class, just rvaged by injuries since. Samuel, for a time, was world class as well. Whatever happened to Ventola? was supposed to become the real deal for Inter back in the day.Lost his way and was loaned out to 4 trillion clubs.
Maldini Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Ventola was on loan at Palace last season and struggled for a game, think he's had a few bad injuries in the last few years
