to be honest, i think if we were to get rid of one player out of cisse or mori, it shold be mori. Cisse offers more options and offers something different from Crouch (our (beni's) first choice)). just my view.

I think that taking the time cisse spent on the side lines since he arrived and the time that mori has had since he arrived, cisse has delivered more than mori.

I hope if we get rid of one it is mori...it wont happen thou'

Morientes is not going anywhere, and why should he. Cant believe for a second anyone would him to go. He's playing really well for us and gives our team a touch of class.

I don't really want any of 'em to go now. In recent weeks I'd not have missed Cisse one bit. But if he carries on as he is. And if he keeps his focus, and works for the coaches, how they want him to do, and shows the sort of attitude as he did tonight, there is no need for him to go anywhere. The strikers have become the least of our worries re strengthening the squad.

fair comments and agree, hope neither go. I think we do have a good blend of stikers and cisse seems to be learning rapidly. really hope he doesn't go although have a feeling that he may... rafa normally talks up a player before letting them go...

hope im wrong.

Cisse is, or hopefully was, the complete opposite of Baros. While Baros would run his socks off and give 110% everytime he was on the pitch ( bar his lack of awareness), he would come out and ruin it all with his comments off it.

Djibs on the other hand, gives the impression of not really making an effort when playing, but says all the right things when interviewed. However, I've been really impressed with his improvement over the past month, and he was excellent in the WCC. Today was no exception, with the absence of the usual sulking, and that Henry-esque finish wasnt too bad either.

Would love to see Cisse succeed here and hopefully things continue in the same vein. Not that I didnt with Baros mind, but he really didnt impress me with his attitude towards the club i.e. " It would be better for me to look for another club with a Champions League medal around my neck" .

if cisse can start to reproduce that sort of finish then he has a big future. His problem has always been the one dimensional aspect to his game which is basically run fast and hit the ball hard. tonights finish was a perfect example of instantly sizing up the situation and choosing the right option. Lets see lots more examples of that.

very true. I never had faith in Djibers in that sort of situation, but tonight he showed some real class with his finishing. He also showed a great attitude through the game, and that has been my biggest annoyance with him in the past - his habit of sulking, and not busting a gut if passes where not perfect. But tonight was a different Djibers, I hope it continues, cos he can be an asset to the team when he playes like this.

see what your saying about not putting in the effort. sometimes thou' its about being in the right place with out necasarily working really hard ie owen for a lot of his goals.

Think that cisse is different to baros and owen in regards to his ability to striker that ball with power and his overall power to me though he is a pkayer that needs to have an arm put round him. rafa did this with mori although didn't with cisse I guess he is playing a tough love game. I hope it works I would hate to see him go only to see him become what I think he could become if trust was placed in him.

not sure if you have seen the video that "djimibrillant" made of his finishing, shows so much more than we have seen so far. a real mix of power, precision and ability.

I hope he continues to work hard and prove the doutbters wrong it can only be good for LFC...

I think Cisse has really made an effort to fit in with how the team plays, and has taken note of what Rafa has said, so there's no reason he can't develop his playing style further and really start to gel with Crouch and the rest of the team - what a player we could have then... the lad can certainly score goals.

That quote from Benitez has made my night. Hope he does stay.

time. give him time & games. he s only 22. we know how unfortunate his last season. he give us different kind of qualities needed.

12 goals so far. not bad eh? for suppose 3rd choice striker..

& how old is moro? 3 years he ll be 32. will be hell lot slower.

we need pace upfront. & patience is virtue for cisse

well, i have to admit, im pleasently surprised to see Rafa sayign that

i think its evident that we have a completly different style of play for each team ,thats the plan anyway, some games Cisse and someone else will work better, while others, perhaps that

if djib accepts this he`ll play alot less, but he`ll have medals, its up to him really, but i like his attitude, you hear alot of strikers crying and moaning when their asked to play out of position, its 1 thing ill give djib, he never whinged once, fair play to him tonight, i thought he played very very well, and took that goal sweetly, left Jock Weir on his a*** as well

It was a great finish, not what I'd expect from Cisse. Maybe there's more to his game than just banging the ball as hard as he can.

Still, if we get a decent offer for him in January we should consider it, as long as Rafa has a quick forward lined up as a replacement.

hope he stays.

Far too soon to say what strikers should stay and leave in the summer. Both mori and Cisse have been showing good things of late. If they continue in that vein, they may well both have good futures for us. My only gripe with mori is that I am not sure that offers much that Crouch doesn't.

Other than that, I think we have a good mix of strikers. A pacey goalscorer in Cisse, technically good forwards who are strong in headplay in mori and crouch and a tricky, unpredictable and pacy striker in Sinama.

Tell me, why should we consider selling him?
