Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Mrs Macca noticed on her Amex that there were charges to Uber Eats which she had never booked, luckily it was Uber Eats that was the flag as she uses Uber a lot. So I got a transaction list from Uber & matched it to her Amex. 46 charges across Uber & Uber Eats totaling over $1,000 were flagged. So we called Amex, went through them all & Amex reported them as fraud & nixed her card. The new card arrived over the weekend by FedEx. We got home late last night & she opened it then. Today there are 18 Uber charges from 5 July on her statement, that Amex say are on the new number. We were upstate, there is no Uber service up there. So not only did we not make the rides ($400 in a day) the card was still sealed in an envelope...
