shoes but no socks

There's a lad here. Must be 20ish. Wax jacket, shirt, jumper, jeans an inch rolled up, black smart brogues with no socks.

 

I had to ask him 'I don't mean to be cheeky but I have to ask you, what's the story with the socks'

 

I expected him to say it had been a night out and someone nicked his socks or threw them out a taxi window or whatever.

 

Turns out its a thing now. Ive seen it with loafers and shorts but not this. Youth fashion c***.
