A friend of mine recently bought an old canvas scroll from a Liverpool Bus. It was the type that the driver would have turned a handle which turned a scroll to show the destination of the bus. He bought it on Ebay to get the Abbey Road section - big Beatles fan. Knowing my passing interest in LFC he gave me the rest. Unfortunately there was no Anfield, but my kitchen now boasts a six foot section of scroll with the following destinations:

 

Fazakerley

Football Ground

Garston

Garston Circular

Gillmoss

Halewood

Halewood Ford Factory

Heath Road

 

Made a frame for it which sits behind and it looks the dogs doo dahs. I gave him the remainder back - not sure if he stills has it.

 

look at it wondering if Shanks was ever on that very bus.
